The Territorial Cup rivalry is barely worth mentioning this season. The Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats have both had underwhelming seasons as they prepare to face off in Week 13 of the college football season.
Arizona State will aim to become bowl eligible for the sixth straight week and will be slight favorites, but has fallen off so much in the past month that this one is close to a toss-up even against a poor foe. Arizona hopes to play spoiler and pick up the upset win at home.
Kickoff for this regular season Week 13 game is set for Friday, November 25, 2016, at 7 p.m. ET at Arizona Stadium.

Odds Analysis
The betting public has watched the Sun Devils struggle mightily of late, and even though Arizona is also poor, the majority of the money is going on the home underdog. The Wildcats are getting more than 60 percent of the betting action.
The “over” has been pounded hard on the scoring total as the betting public is expecting a shootout.
Arizona State is 5-6 straight up and 5-5-1 against the spread. The Sun Devils have covered in three of four chances as the favorite, but are only 0-4-1 against the spread on the road so one of those will have to budge in this one.
Arizona is a horrific 2-9 straight up and 1-10 against the spread. The Wildcats are 1-4 against the spread as the underdog and have only covered one time in seven home attempts.
Injury Report
The Wildcats aren’t very good but they have also been racked by injuries. Starting quarterback Anu Solomon has been in and out of the lineup all year and it’s unknown if he will be available for this game.
Solomon has thrown for just 465 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in parts of five games, and the team lost all of them. Solomon had really nice seasons the previous two years and was expected to lead the team but might not play in this one either because of injury or ineffectiveness.
Brandon Dawkins has thrown for 1,268 yards this season with seven touchdowns and six interceptions. He is also the team’s leading rusher with 119 carries for 761 yards and eight scores. If Dawkins plays, the Sun Devils will have to be wary of his wheels.
However, they would prefer to see him as Arizona State is allowing an obscene 382.9 passing yards per game and don’t want to see a pocket passer with a good arm.
Player to Watch
Manny Wilkins – It’s been an injury-riddled season for the Arizona State quarterback – injured quarterbacks seems to be a theme for both teams this season – but he’s been solid the last two games, despite the losses.
In the loss last week to Washington, Wilkins was 20-of-32 passing for 227 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He combined for 536 yards passing the last two weeks after returning from an upper body injury.
The sophomore is has thrown for 1,957 yards with nine touchdowns and eight interceptions in eight complete games this season. Given the issues behind center for the Wildcats, Wilkins has the advantage in this one.
Free ATS Pick
Arizona State was 5-1 at one point this season and cruising to a bowl berth, but has lost five straight now. The Sun Devils have lost four of those by 19 points or more, which is why the spread against woeful Arizona is so low.
Arizona State has more incentive in this one and the better quarterback, which should be enough to pull out the win. The Sun Devils catch a break in that Arizona doesn’t have a great quarterback to dice up their defense, and ASU should cover this spread.
College Football Odds: Arizona State 38, Arizona 28
