The UCF Knights have scored 100 points in the last two games and will look to continue that trend against the Tulane Green Wave in this Week 6 matchup. Both American Athletic teams come into this matchup with a record of 3-2, but UCF is the favorite in this matchup in Orlando.
Both teams are riding winning streaks. UCF captured a 47-29 victory over East Carolina last week while Tulane defeated UMass 31-24. However, Central Florida will be the heavy favorite as the home team with the higher ceiling.
This contest in Week 6 of the regular season will go down Friday, October 7, 2016, at 8 p.m. ET at Bright House Networks Stadium.

Odds Analysis
While it’s still early and the money could become more evenly distributed as the week goes on, the bettors are currently jumping on this line. Central Florida has taken almost all of the money as the gamblers expect to see a cover of two touchdowns or more.
Key Stat
24. That’s the highest point total Tulane has given up in regulation this season. The Green Wave allowed that to UMass last week in a 31-24 win. Even in its two losses, Tulane held Wake Forest to seven points and Navy to 21.
The only team to put up significant points against Tulane was Louisiana-Lafayette, but it took four overtimes for the game to finish 41-39 in favor the Green Wave. Tulane held Louisiana-Lafayette to 16 points before the extra periods.
The defense is only giving up 171 yards in the air and 139 on the ground, and figures to make UCF work for its points in this one.
Injury Report
Central Florida’s quarterback situation is one to watch closely. McKenzie Milton has been the much better quarterback when healthy even though he’s just a true freshman, but he missed last week with an ankle injury.
Milton is 29-of-50 this year for 433 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Justin Holman has more experience but doesn’t have the ceiling that Milton does.
Holman is battling a hamstring injury of his own but played last week, although he was just 11-of-29 for 156 yards with two interceptions. Holman is only completing 41.2 percent of his passes in 2016 and has not been especially impressive since back in 2014.
It seems like Milton is the much better choice, so if he can play that’s a big boost for UCF. Keep an eye on that situation, as it could result in a swing in the outcome and may be the difference between the Knights covering or failing to cover. It also would affect the scoring total.
Free ATS Pick
Tulane comes into this game on a two-game winning streak, defeating Louisiana-Lafayette in a quadruple overtime on September 24th before the win over UMass last week. The team also had a 66-12 win over Southern in Week 2.
The Green Wave has two losses on the season but both were close. While Tulane’s record isn’t special, it has equipped itself pretty well this year and this would be a big-time upset win on the road.
Central Florida’s only two losses came to top-5 foe Michigan and then Maryland in double overtime. The Knights will look to stay undefeated in conference play with a win.
Something will have to give in this one as both teams have been good against the spread this year. Each side has covered the spread in four out of five games. Tulane is a perfect 2-0 against the spread on the road while UCF has covered both home games.
The pick here is for the Green Wave to cover. Even though Central Florida is the better team, this one shouldn’t be a blowout.
