The 15th-ranked Boise State Broncos are big home favorites on Saturday as they host the Colorado State Rams in a game that can be seen on ESPN 2. The Rams are 3-3 on the season and coming off a big win against Utah State while the Broncos are 5-0 and off a win against New Mexico. This Week 7 matchup is not expected to be competitive as the Broncos are laying more than four touchdowns.
This contest in Week 7 of the regular season will go down Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 10:15 p.m. ET at Albertsons Stadium.

Colorado State +29
Boise State -29
Odds Analysis
The Broncos opened up as 27-point favorites and it didn’t take long for the wiseguys to jump all over this number as it went to 27.5 within minutes and the line just kept going up as it hit 28 and then moved up another point to 29. It would be unusual for this number to come back down as the public is only going to bet one way and that is on Boise State. There is a chance the number drifts up to 30 by game time but most of the major action has already occurred so this number should stay around 28.5 or 29.
Matchup to Watch
If Colorado State is to have any chance to keep this game close they have to find a way to slow down the Boise State passing attack. The Rams are giving up 236.8 passing yards per game which is 78th in the country. Colorado State’s defense shutout Utah State last week in the second half and the team rallied for a win. The secondary is going to get a huge test on Saturday night against a Boise State passing attack that put up 391 yards last week in a win over New Mexico.
Brett Rypien was able to find his top two receivers a lot against the Lobos as
Thomas Sperbeck had nine catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns while Cedrick Wilson had nine catches for 167 yards and three touchdowns. It was the third time in Boise State history that two players finished with more than 150 receiving yards.
Key Stat
Colorado State has done well against winning teams as they are 4-0 ATS in their last four. They could be a dangerous home underdog in this game especially since the Broncos are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games.
You would think this would be a high scoring game but the Under is 4-1 in Rams last 5 road games and the Under is 8-1 in the Broncos last 9 home games. Four of the last five meetings have gone over the total.
Free ATS Pick
This is actually a big letdown spot for Boise State. Many people will look at last week’s game against New Mexico and think that it was just another win for the Broncos but that was not the case. Boise had looked forward to that game all offseason as many players didn’t like the way the Lobos celebrated after winning last year. “Those guys certainly know some of the things that showed up from last season after the game and different things like that,” head coach Bryan Harsin said. “You don’t have to talk about that, that stuff shows up, and that’s why I think sometimes you’ve got to be careful when you go win games and all that.”
Colorado State is not a great team but they showed some guts last week in a win over Utah State and they don’t need to do a lot in this game to cover as they are getting more than four touchdowns. I will take the big points with the Rams in this game.
College Football Odds: Broncos 38, Rams 20
