There are a ton of ties between the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos. John Fox and basically his whole coaching staff were booted out of the Rockies last year, while Jay Cutler was unceremoniously traded a few years ago to Chicago as well. Now, the whole band will have a chance for some revenge, and that makes us think this fantasy matchup between Cutler and Peyton Manning could end up being a one-sided affair.

Last week saw Peyton Manning make history. He became the all-time leading passer in NFL history, surpassing Brett Favre. However, he also made some personal history with the worst game of his entire career.
It's really sad watching Manning try to sling the ball around the field nowadays. Defenses know where he's going with the ball, and Manning's arm strength just isn't there to make up for it. As a result, the future Hall of Famer has five picks in his last 21 throws, and that just happens to be the same number of pass completions he has in that stretch.
Manning put up a dreadful -6.05 fantasy points last week against Kansas City in a game which he was benched in the third quarter. It was the lowest point of his entire career, and it was perhaps a sign that Gary Kubiak needs to make a change and put Manning out of his misery for good.
Even as recently as last year, Manning averaged 25.1 fantasy points per game, a healthy number by the matchup standards at BookMaker. However, in 2015, his stats have taken a ridiculous nosedive. Even Colin Kaepernick was doing better than this before he was benched. Manning is averaging a paltry 12.5 fantasy points per game.
Cutler has a tough matchup going against him for sure. The Broncos have arguably the best defense in the NFL, but we see a lot of possibilities for this passing game with Cutler.
Matt Forte may or may not be back in the lineup on Sunday, but regardless as to whether he is or isn't, we can't see him making a huge impact on the ground.
Where the Bears can really excel though, is in the screen game. Both Zach Miller and Jeremy Langford took screen passes 80+ yards last week for touchdowns against the Rams, and that took an otherwise lousy day for Cutler and turned it into 19-for-24 for 258 yards with three TDs.
No, Cutler isn't having the best year for fantasy footballers with 21.2 points per game by BookMaker's scoring system, but at least he's proving to be relatively consistent. Since Forte has been on the shelf, Cutler has been called upon to make more plays with his arm. Sure, he's getting some help along the way with some great catches and awesome runs after the reception, but he's also not screwing up and making the big mistake either.
The Bears have a legitimate chance to win this game, and we think they're going to be on the field a ton of offense. That's a good sign for Cutler to at least rack up some junk stats, if nothing else. Every completion and every yard counts in a matchup against a man who seems to have an absolute ceiling of 20 fantasy points and no apparent floor. That's why we have no choice but to back Cutler at home on Sunday, even against the Denver defense.
