The Bengals are just 1-3 on the season while the Bills are 3-1, but it is Cincy who enters this game as the favorite. The home field advantage is key, as the general feeling is that the talent level on each side is pretty even.
Buffalo is coming off a fantastic road win over the Falcons to grab sole possession of first place in the AFC East for now as the Patriots struggle. The Bengals picked up a much-needed win over the Browns last time out and hope to make the trek back to .500 and back into playoff contention.

Odds Analysis
The Bengals started as a one-point favorite and the spread is already shooting up, as sharps aren’t worried about the overall records. With the spread up to a field goal, Buffalo is now getting more of the action, so keep an eye on this spread as the week moves along.
The scoring total is really low, and not surprisingly the “over” is the more popular choice thus far, with more than 85 percent of the money on that side of things. The Buffalo defense has been really good, but this scoring total is not high enough.
Injury Report
Jordan Matthews — Shortly after catching his first ever touchdown pass as a member of the Bills, Buffalo’s No. 1 receiver exited the game with a thumb injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against Atlanta. Matthews did not return and was seen with a cast on his thumb following the game. The Bills aren’t a huge passing team but with the trade of Sammy Watkins in camp, Matthews is a key and will be a big loss if he’s out for a significant period of time.
EJ Gaines —The Bills cornerback injured his groin during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s contest against the Falcons and did not return. The Buffalo secondary has been fantastic this season and this is definitely a blow. Check back to see how he is doing during the week.
Matchup To Watch
Bengals offense vs. Buffalo defense -- The Bills have been stingy on the season, while Cincinnati has struggled to score. If the Bengals can’t get going in this one, the edge will swing to Buffalo to win a low-scoring game.
However, the Bengals do have reason to believe they will get rolling in this one. Cincinnati looked better offensively two weeks ago in Green Bay and then got completely on track against the Browns.
A.J. Green is a superstar while Joe Mixon is getting his foothold in the NFL. Quarterback Andy Dalton has been up and down and will have to figure out a Buffalo secondary that is coming off a great showing against the powerful Falcons offense. If the Bills can keep the Bengals in check, they are a nice choice to pull the upset.
Free ATS Pick
The Bengals’ record is poor but this team has a pretty similar talent level to the Bills. This will be a really interesting game. If Buffalo wins, it will be in great shape to make a playoff push. It was hard to figure the Bills out after they made a coaching change and made multiple trades this offseason but everything has gone extremely well thus far.
The Bengals have talent and are starting to turn it around. After such a slow start, every game is important, especially at home. This game should be competitive, but go with the hot hand. The Bills are a solid bet at +3 with the possibility of an upset.
NFL Odds: Bills 21, Bengals 20
