The Ravens’ offense has been awful this season but somehow the team is sitting at 3-2 on the year and need to win games like this to keep their playoff hopes alive. Chicago showed some signs of life last time out against Minnesota but this is a tough matchup, especially if Trubisky is asked to do too much.

Odds Analysis
The Bears played on “Monday Night Football” so the spread hasn’t yet been released. However, the Ravens should be favored since they are the better team and playing at home. There’s no doubt the scoring total will be among the lowest of the week as each team’s offense could have trouble finding the end zone in this matchup.
Injury Report
Matt Skura — The Ravens’ starting right guard will miss two-to-four weeks with a sprained MCL. He left Sunday’s game with an injury and did not return before testing this week revealed the sprain. Skura became the starter after Marshal Yanda went down with a season-ending ankle injury. Skura was replaced by rookie Jermaine Eluemunor who could get his first NFL start Sunday against the Bears.
Terrance West— The Baltimore running back also exited Sunday’s game early after re-injuring his calf in the first quarter. He underwent an MRI on Monday and will miss time, although the team did not say how long. West saw limited action due to the nagging calf injury earlier in the season. He has 39 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Danny Trevathan -- The Bears’ linebacker wasn’t hurt but didn’t play against the Vikings because of a suspension for a late hit on Packers wide receiver Davante Adams. He should be back for this one and is a key piece for a Chicago defense that needs his talent and experience.
Key Stat
71.0. That’s Joe Flacco’s quarterback rating for the Ravens this season, which is one reason to believe the Bears could keep this one close despite playing with a rookie quarterback on the road.
Flacco has thrown for 823 yards with four touchdowns and six interceptions. The Ravens did score 30 points last time out in a win over the Raiders, but they went through an earlier stretch where they scored 16 points combined in back-to-back losses to the Jaguars and Steelers.
Flacco is a former Super Bowl-winning quarterback but he has not played well over the past few seasons and is now looking like one of the worst signal-callers in the NFL.
Free ATS Pick
Most know the Bears aren’t that good this season, but despite its record Baltimore isn’t that much better. Trubisky showed some flashes of potential in his first career start but is still very raw. This will be a shock for him against a strong and aggressive defense.
The Bears are going to have struggle scoring points, but don’t expect the Ravens to run away with this one. Choose Baltimore to win a close one, but the Bears should be able to cover as long as the spread is as big as expected, and the “under” could be the correct call in what should be a defensive battle.
NFL Odds: Ravens 16, Bears 14
