The Baltimore Ravens’ offense has had trouble getting rolling in 2017. Luckily it has the defense to lean on. Baltimore’s stingy unit pitched its third shutout of the season last time out against the Packers to improve to 5-5 and stay right in the hunt for a wild card berth. The Ravens hope to pick up another victory in Week 12 when they host the Houston Texans.
It’s been a wild season for Houston, which looked like a playoff contender early on behind star quarterback Deshaun Watson but looks sunk with Tom Savage at the helm. Savage had a solid performance last time out but has not been consistent enough to believe in.
This matchup in Week 12 of the regular season will take place on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium.

Odds Analysis
The Ravens are touchdown favorites and the betting public likes that line as more than 68 percent of the money is on Baltimore to cover. The scoring total is one of the lowest of the week as both teams figure to struggle moving the ball. The total might be too low as the “over” is the more popular choice with 61 percent of the action.
The Texans are listed at +256 on the moneyline while the Ravens are -315 favorites. Each side of the moneyline is getting about half of the action, so there is a school of thought that likes both of these odds.
Injury Report
D’Onta Foreman — The Texans running back injured his achilles tendon on a touchdown run against the Cardinals and was placed on injured reserve. Houston still has Lamar Miller but Foreman was a reserve weapon. The Texans claimed Cardinals running back Andre Ellington on waivers and he could be worked in as soon as this week.
Will Fuller -- Houston’s speedy No. 2 receiver is dealing with sore ribs and missed the team’s game on Sunday. DeAndre Hopkins is a star and he will be Savage’s main target but it would be nice to get Fuller back because he brings a deep threat element to the aerial attack.
C.J. Mosley -- The Ravens linebacker suffered an ankle sprain against the Packers last time out. It is supposedly a minor injury, which is important so that Mosley can be active in this one. He is a sure tackler and would be a nice weapon against the Houston running game.
Key Stat
17.1. That’s the number of points per game the Ravens have given up this season, which is one of the best marks in the NFL. Baltimore shut out Green Bay last week and would love to shut down Texans and another backup quarterback in Savage.
Baltimore’s three shutouts this year have come against Green Bay, the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore got rocked by the Jaguars early in the season, allowing 44 points, but has otherwise not allowed 30 in a game this year.
The Texans are still among the league leaders in points per game, but that’s because they have been coasting off Watson’s phenomenal production, Without him, they have had a much tougher time.
Free ATS Pick
Baltimore’s offense has been poor this season but Houston’s defense isn’t very good without superstar J.J. Watt, who is done for the season. The Ravens should be able to score enough and then will shut down the Texans offense.
Turnovers will help give the Ravens the edge as they cruise to the win. Take Baltimore to cover the spread as well, and the “over” is the choice because the Ravens will score more than what is expected from them.
NFL Odds: Ravens 27, Texans 13
