The Dallas Cowboys were the NFC East team expected to be in contention for the Super Bowl, but it is actually the Philadelphia Eagles who are looking like championship material. At 8-1, the Philadelphia Eagles are three games ahead of the Cowboys in the divisional standings as the teams prime for a showdown in Week 11 of the regular season. The Eagles come into this matchup off a bye and looking to widen that gap.
The Eagles have won seven straight with their only loss of the season coming to Kansas City in Week 2. The Cowboys are without star running back Ezekiel Elliott right now, who began serving a six-game suspension last week, and while still in contention at 5-4, they have to figure out a way to win without Elliot.
This is a huge game for Dallas and their playoff hopes, while the Eagles can pretty much wrap up the division with a win.
This matchup in Week 11 of the regular season will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium.

Odds Analysis
The Eagles have been so good this season that they are small favorites on the road despite facing a formidable foe. Philadelphia has been clicking on all cylinders and it’s certainly easy to see it coming away with the win.
The scoring total is higher than most games as the oddsmakers are forecasting an offensive explosion.
Key Stat
Eight. That’s how many times Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked in his team’s 27-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Six of those sacks were by Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn who took advantage of the absence of the Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith on the blindside, and had himself a career day.
Smith missed Sunday’s game with injuries to his back and groin, and it’s not yet known whether he will return this week to face the Eagles. Chaz Green filled in for Smith against the Falcons, but the dropoff was evident without the four-time Pro Bowler in the trenches for Dallas.
If Smith is unable to play again this week that could spell trouble again for the Cowboys. Without Elliott, Dallas must be able to depend more on its passing game and that means giving Prescott time to make a play.
On defense, the Cowboys are going to be without linebacker Sean Lee, so they are dealing with some critical injuries heading into this one.
Player to Watch
Carson Wentz— With the way the Eagles quarterback is playing this year, it’s easy to forget it’s only his second season in the league. Wentz leads the NFL in touchdown passes so far this season with 23 and is as hot as ever coming into this matchup after throwing four touchdowns his last time out as the Eagles dropped 51 points in their win over the Broncos on November 5th.
Wentz has a quarterback rating of 104.1 heading into Week 11 and commands an offense that averages 240.2 passing yards a game. He has thrown for 2,662 yards through the first nine games with just five interceptions.
Free ATS Pick
This game features two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Dallas has the home field advantage so it’s hard to count out the Cowboys completely, but the Eagles are playing just too good to ignore. Roll with the Eagles once again as they are establishing themselves as the team to beat in the NFC.
However, this one should be very close. Go with the Cowboys to cover the spread in a nail-biter. The “under” is the choice as the defenses will step up enough to keep this one lower-scoring.
NFL Odds: Eagles 24, Cowboys 23
