The Philadelphia Eagles fancy themselves the best team in the NFC and legitimate Super Bowl contenders. There’s no better way to prove that then by going on the road and knocking off one of the perennial contenders from their conference. The Seattle Seahawks will welcome Philadelphia to their home and will have a lot of pride in trying to take care of business in this one.
However, the Eagles are such a juggernaut that it will be hard to keep up. The Seahawks have been hit hard by injuries this season, as star defensive backs Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor are both out for the season. Quarterback Russell Wilson will need to have a big game to help give his team a chance at the upset.
Philadelphia is in line for the top seed in the NFC postseason but there are a couple teams within striking distance so it must continue to stack the victories.
This matchup in Week 13 of the regular season will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. ET at CenturyLink Field.

Philadelphia Eagles -6
Seattle Seahawks +6
Over/Under 47
Odds Analysis
The Seahawks have never been this big of underdogs at home since Wilson was drafted and installed as the quarterback. Despite that, more than 73 percent of the action is on Philadelphia to cover this spread.
The scoring total is pretty high for a Seahawks game because of Philadelphia’s ability to score and Seattle’s injuries. The “over” is getting nearly 80 percent of the action.
Seattle is the +195 underdog despite being at home while the Eagles are -235 favorites. The slight majority of the action is on the Seahawks to cover.
Injury Report
Alshon Jeffery — The Eagles’ wide receiver was limited at practice this week with a foot injury. The team’s second-leading receiver had five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ 31-3 win over the Bears last week.
Bobby Wagner — The Seahawks’ starting linebacker missed practice this week with a hamstring injury. Wagner is a huge part of Seattle’s defense with 100 tackles and two interceptions. The Seahawks have already lost some key players on defense this season and can’t afford to lose a star such as Wagner against this offense.
Duane Brown — The Seahawks’ left tackle missed practice this week with an ankle injury. He has not missed a game since sustaining the injury against Arizona on November 9th.
Jimmy Graham — The Seattle tight end was on the injury report again this week with a nagging ankle injury. Graham has been playing through the injury and has four touchdowns in the last three games for Seattle. He did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Key Stat
160. That’s the positive point-differential for the Eagles this season, which is the best in the NFL this season, as is their 10-1 record. Philadelphia has taken a huge leap forward this season and is looking like one of the top contenders for the Super Bowl crown.
The Eagles are averaging 31.9 points per game, which is one of the best marks in the NFL, while allowing only 17.4 points per contest. There isn’t a more well-rounded team in the league.
Philadelphia has won nine consecutive games, with its only loss this season coming early to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Free ATS Pick
There is every reason to believe in the Eagles and their MVP candidate at quarterback, Carson Wentz. However, the Seahawks have a great home field advantage and still have a star quarterback of their own.
Philadelphia should be able to go into a tough environment and come away with the victory, but the spread is too high. Take the Seahawks to cover and choose the “under” as the Seattle defense should come up with enough stops despite being undermanned.
NFL Odds: Eagles 24, Seahawks 20
