The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers may play in the same state, but with the way these teams are playing, there won’t be much talk of a big rivalry in Week 11. Both squads were hoping to push for the playoffs in 2017 but seem unlikely to be in that race moving forward.
The Dolphins lost their starting quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, in the preseason, and the offense has not been very good with veteran Jay Cutler running things in place of him. The Buccaneers are also without their starter as they have put Jameis Winston on the shelf with a shoulder injury.
This game does not have much pizazz as both teams have underperformed on the year.

Odds Analysis
There is no line yet as the Dolphins just finished their Week 10 matchup with a road loss to the Carolina Panthers on “Monday Night Football.” However, they figure to be slight favorites in this one because of the home field advantage and the fact that Winston isn’t playing.
Look for the scoring total to come in pretty low as both teams are having trouble moving the ball without their starting quarterbacks leading the way.
Injury Report
Winston- The Buccaneers quarterback was originally injured a few weeks back against the Cardinals but tried to keep playing through the shoulder ailment. He wasn’t very effective and the team decided to shut him down indefinitely to allow it to heal up. Ryan Fitzpatrick will start in this one. He has plenty of experience and has thrown for 545 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions this season.
Ja’Wuan James- The Dolphins offensive tackle has been dealing with a severe hamstring injury and was recently placed on injured reserve. He was one of the more consistent players when it came to run blocking and pass protection on the offensive line,
T.J. McDonald- The Miami safety hasn’t been hurt but missed the first eight games of the season after violating the NFL’s policy on substance abuse. He is an impressive player when available and is expected to be added to the fold immediately. Neither team is going to throw for a bunch of yards, but Miami will welcome this playmaker to its defense.
Player To Watch
Mike Evans -- The Buccaneers’ wide receiver was suspended for the team’s most recent game, a win over the New York Jets, after delivering a cheap-shot on Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore two weeks ago. Evans admitted he was frustrated as Tampa Bay was losing that game and has gone just 3-6 on the season when it was hoping to be in playoff contention.
He will be the most talented skill player on the field on either team and Fitzpatrick will look for him often. Evans has caught 40 passes for 532 yards and four touchdowns on the season and the Bucs would love to get a big day out of him in order to have a chance at pulling off the upset
Free ATS Pick
These are two teams that may not be among the worst teams in the NFL standings but play like it at times. The Dolphins have the slight edge because of the location, but it’s not a long commute for Tampa Bay and it won’t be an extreme home field advantage.
Fitzpatrick may be the backup but he is a decent one. Take the Buccaneers to win this game on the road, even if they are listed as the underdogs. Take an eye on the scoring total as this one could be a low-scoring affair.
NFL Odds: Buccaneers 21, Dolphins 20
