NFL Betting Online: Once again the Miami Dolphins were one of the busiest teams in the league during the offseason. Maybe this is the year it finally pays off.

2015 Regular Season Wins Total: 9, +110 O, -130 U

Odds to Win Super Bowl: +3444

Odds to Win AFC: +1352

Odds to Win Division: +352

The Dolphins won the biggest prize in free agency when they signed Ndamukong Suh to the richest contract in NFL history for a defensive player. It’ll be tough for Suh to meet value at $114 million, but Miami’s defensive line is going to be a nightmare for opposing offenses for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately signing Suh required sacrifice elsewhere, which is why the Dolphins had a high turnover rate and large loss of talent, too.

The Dolphins couldn’t afford to keep fellow defensive tackle Jared Odrick, which is why they drafted Jordan Phillips in the second round. Tight end Charles Clay was also a cap casualty, though Miami may have let him go regardless.

Offensively, the Dolphins gave quarterback Ryan Tannehill a lot of new weapons by overhauling the receiving corps with receiver Kenny Stills from New Orleans and tight end Jordan Cameron from Cleveland. Both are athletic guys and will pair well with a promising receiver in Jarvis Landry.

The group is a huge improvement over Brian Hartline, who was becoming a non-factor, and Charles Clay, who wasn’t worth the money the Bills were offering. And moving on from the problem that was Mike Wallace is a plus.

With the additions made to a team that was close to making the playoffs last season, there’s no reason why the Miami Dolphins shouldn’t reach the postseason this year.

There’s an unmistakable make-or-break vibe in Miami this year, and when does that kind of backdrop ever seem to pay off in a big way? Tannehill has more weapons than he’s ever had, and the Dolphins defense should reach another level with the addition of Suh.

On paper, the Dolphins could have their best season since reaching the playoffs seven seasons ago. But Suh is not a savior, Joe Philbin is not about to become a coaching savant, and Miami’s long run of mediocrity could just as easily continue.

KEY ADDITIONS: DT Ndamukong Suh, WR Kenny Stills, TE Jordan Cameron, CB Brice McCain, OL J.D. Walton, WR Greg Jennings, CB Zack Bowman, LB Spencer Paysinger.

KEY LOSSES: WR Mike Wallace, DL Randy Starks, TE Charles Clay, DT Jared Odrick, LB Dannell Ellerbe, OG Shelley Smith, WR Brian Hartline, LB Philip Wheeler, DB Cortland Finnegan.

Miami may have the best chance of any team in the AFC East to dethrone New England and win the division. Reason being, they have their franchise quarterback in place. And for now the Jets and Bills still have questions.
