There isn't a game more speculated on the planet than the Super Bowl. The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos are being dissected into bits and pieces down to the long snapper and the backup quarterbacks. However, when push comes to shove and the game is finally underway, there can be just as much money made from live betting as there is before the game.

ODDS ANALYSIS
This betting line has been on the rise all week long, and bettors are going to want to keep close eye on this as the week continues. The Panthers actually opened up at -3.5 during the NFC Championship Game when it was clear they were going to beat Arizona. It's been all one-way traffic since that point. They're risen up to -5.5 as of the publication of this article and have shown up at -6 at some sportsbooks. There's a good chance that spread could end up rising more as the week wears up and we get closer to kickoff.
Live bettors should know that there are a lot of tickets of public bettors out there counting on the black and blue, and especially if Denver gets up early, there's going to be a lot of chasing on the Panthers in live betting, perhaps setting up a nice spot to back the Broncos.
The total of 45 has remained relatively consistent all week long, though it has trended upwards with 45.5s on the board at various locations.
WHEN THE CAROLINA PANTHERS HAVE THE BALL
The Panthers have been dominant on offense of late. Cam Newton has been throwing darts all over the field, and the offensive line has put on a show to open up gaping holes for Jonathan Stewart to run through. In fact, Carolina has scored multiple times in both the first and second quarters of its two playoff games, and it would only make sense for live bettors to think that's going to happen again.
However, the Denver defense is playing like the best in the NFL. Live bettors certainly need to watch out for the status of T.J. Ward and Darian Stewart, the Broncos' two starting safeties. Both were knocked out of the game against the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and when both were dinged up, Rob Gronkowski was at his best.
With Greg Olsen playing the role of Carolina's best receiver, the Denver defensive backs are going to be the focal point of this game, especially if Von Miller and Demarcus Ware aren't getting home on Newton while he's standing in the pocket.
WHEN THE DENVER BRONCOS HAVE THE BALL
Carolina's defense has largely been underrated. The Panthers have arguably the best linebacking corps in the league, though Thomas Davis suffered a broken forearm last week. Davis claims that he's playing come hell or high water this week, but live bettors will want proof of how effective he is capable of being.
Still, Luke Kuechly has more touchdowns in this postseason than the entire Denver receiving corps with his two defensive scores. Josh Norman is a Pro Bowler and has definitely staked a claim to Defensive Player of the Year honors as well.
The real story when Denver has the ball for live bettors though, is all about the Sheriff. Peyton Manning has been here and done this before, but he really hasn't had a signature game in the Super Bowl. His boss, John Elway won the Super Bowl twice, including in his final game as a quarterback. Manning was second in the league in interceptions this year in spite of the fact that he missed over a quarter of the season. Still, he hasn't thrown a pick since returning from his plantar injury, including two crucial playoff games.
Manning's play was awful in the Super Bowl two years ago, and whether this is really his last rodeo or not, it's clear that the Sheriff is going to be the key to the Broncos winning or losing in live betting.
