Week 12 of the NFL regular season gets going on Thanksgiving Day with a smorgasbord of football. There are few holidays – at least football related ones – like Thanksgiving and the turkey day games are going to be fun ones. Besides, who doesn’t like a couple of division rivalries to spice the cranberry sauce?

NFL GAMES OF THE WEEK
Redskins at Cowboys – Thursday, November 24, 4:30 p.m. ET (FOX)
The Redskins and Cowboys have played seven times on Thanksgiving, most recently in 2012, when Robert Griffin III led Washington to a 38-31 win. That was the Redskins’ only win in the rivals’ Thanksgiving Day series, which includes the improbable, Clint Longley-led Cowboys comeback victory in 1974. Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones, a member of that 1974 Cowboys team, thinks the Redskins and Cowboys should meet every Thanksgiving. “Those games, whether or not you were a Cowboy or Redskins fan, you still watched that game and they were always great games.”
This is the best Turkey Day game of the bunch and has potential to be much more. If Tony Romo is healthy, this one will turn into a shootout between two great NFC East offenses, and who doesn't like shootouts on Thanksgiving?
Patriots at Jets – Sunday, November 27, 8:30 p.m. ET (NBC)
No, it's not Tom Brady against Rex Ryan, but Todd Bowles will do just fine. The Jets exceeded expectations in 2015. They have a much tougher schedule this time around, so maybe we shouldn't expect them to win 10 games again, but we can definitely expect them to give Brady and Bill Belichick all they've got.
Bowles is one of the most creative defensive minds in the league, and it should be a thrill to watch what he has in store to stifle Brady, Gronk and the rest of the New England passing game. And who can forget the Pats loss to the Jets in overtime last season, as Matthew Slater elected to kick the ball in overtime, instead of receiving it, which led to the Jets scoring a touchdown right away to win the game. This will be a good rematch on Sunday Night Football.
Bengals at Ravens – Sunday, November 27, 1 p.m. ET (CBS)
The AFC North is going to be a bloodbath, and I am going to say that for the rest of the year. You have three teams – Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Baltimore – all good enough to be in the playoffs, and I say every one of those divisional games – except the ones with Cleveland – is a playoff preview. We all saw A.J. Green and Steve Smith Sr. tear up each other's defenses last season, and who says they won't do the same this time?
