The early lines for the 2016 NFL season had the Seattle Seahawks as a double-digit favorite four times. Week 9 is one of those games. The Buffalo Bills will make the cross-country trip to the Pacific Northwest for a Monday Night Football showdown as early 10-point dogs.

NFL GAMES OF THE WEEK
Colts at Packers – Sunday, November 6, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
Andrew Luck. Aaron Rodgers. T.Y. Hilton. Jordy Nelson. Donte Moncrief. Randall Cobb. Look out for an aerial assault. Will Luck rebound in 2016? How about the Colts, for that matter? What amounts to a classic quarterback matchup is also a rare one, in that these two teams only face off once every four years. In fact, the last time these franchises met, back in 2012, we were all the beneficiaries of one of the better regular-season games of recent vintage.
Luck, playing in his fourth NFL game, brought Indy back at the end to down Rodgers and Co. at Lucas Oil. Also, did you know that the wristband that all the quarterbacks wear these days came from a Colts-Packers playoff game? Baltimore Colts fullback Tom Matte was forced to play quarterback with both signal callers, so he wore a wristband for assistance in calling the plays.
Lions at Vikings – Sunday, November 6, 1 p.m. ET (FOX)
The Lions split with the Packers last year and swept the Bears, and they would have been 4–0 in those games if not for that sorcery that Aaron Rodgers calls a Hail Mary. But the NFC North opponent Detroit had no success with was division champ Minnesota, which beat the Lions by 10 points in Minneapolis and nine points at Ford Field.
That puts the bull’s-eye squarely on the Lions’ Week 9 trip to Minnesota, their third and final division road game before any NFC North opponents visit Detroit. Maybe going back inside the Vikings’ new dome will make the Lions feel a little bit at home.
Broncos at Raiders – Sunday, November 6, 8:30 p.m. ET (NBC)
The Raiders caused the Broncos to lose a game last season, and the Broncos only lost four games all year. This game is going to be played on Sunday Night Football – in the Black Hole. That is going to be crazy. The whole city of Oakland is going to represent their team while playing the defending champs.
The Raiders are a trendy team heading into 2016. They added a lot of pieces in free agency and their young players are maturing, led by quarterback Derek Carr and pass rusher Khalil Mack. But to truly show if they are a real contender, they have to beat Denver, the champs of the league and the division. Do that and people will believe. It's a Sunday Night Game as well, which will add to the intrigue.
