NFL Odds - Pittsburgh Steelers Odds To Win the Super Bowl

2017-NFL-Steelers-Odds-To-Win-AFC-North-Bet-Online

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won six Super Bowl titles in franchise history and they have a legitimate chance at getting back to big game in 2017. One of the league’s most skilled offenses will welcome back the return of yet another weapon in Martavis Bryant, who rejoins a veteran core of players whose talent and versatility are a challenge for even the NFL’s top defenses.

With this kind of talent on offense, the Steelers really just need a defense that can contain their opponents and they should have that this year. Even with the injuries and inexperience on defense last year, Pittsburgh went 11-5 in the regular season and made it to the AFC Championship where the team fell to the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots. The Patriots, who come into this season as the favorites, will again be the biggest thing standing in the way of the Steelers and their seventh Super Bowl bid.

Key Players for Winning the Super Bowl

Ben Roethlisberger - At 35, many fans have been contemplating just how many years Big Ben has left. Despite dealing with his fair share of injuries the last couple of years, the five-time Pro Bowler is still playing at an elite level and he’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He also knows this offense better than anyone having spent the entirety of his career in Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger threw for 3,819 yards and 29 touchdowns last season. He has led the Steelers to two Super Bowls and with all the talent around him this year, he’s capable of at least one more run.

Le’Veon Bell - While Roethlisberger is wrapping up his career, Bell is just hitting his prime. The 25-year-old is poised for another big season in 2017. He was the workhorse of the offense last season and poses a dual threat to defenses, averaging more than 100 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving per game. After getting the franchise tag in February, the Steelers and Bell have yet to reach an agreement on a new deal so his future is still in limbo. However, he will be with the team in 2017.

Antonio Brown- The league’s highest paid receiver has certainly lived up to the hype in recent years. The 29-year-old has hit 1,000 yards or more receiving for four straight years with the Steelers, and five overall. He had 106 receptions for 1,284 yards and 12 touchdowns last year despite being double-teamed most of the season. With Bryant back, Brown should be even more dangerous.

Martavis Bryant- The former fourth-round pick out of Clemson missed four games in 2015 and all of the 2016 season after a violating the league's substance abuse policy. He reportedly spent his season away from football staying in shape and getting clean and if he can stay that way, he could be a huge addition to this team. In his rookie season just three year ago, Bryant finished with 26 receptions for 549 yards, averaging a league-best 21.1 yards per catch. His speed gives him the ability to be another deep threat that opposing defense must now deal with.

Ryan Shazier- In his third season in the NFL, Shazier made his first Pro Bowl in 2016. A nod that was well deserved as the inside linebacker accumulated 87 tackles, three interceptions, 3.5 sacks and nine pass deflections. Shazier will resume his role as a leader on defense alongside veteran James Harrison, who turned 39 years old in May.
