NFL Props - Pittsburgh Steelers prop bets vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers have only suffered a handful of losses this year, but one of those five came at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. You can bet that the Steelers will be looking for their vengeance in this game on the road in Baltimore, and Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger are sure to be a big part of it.

You can find weekly head-to-head fantasy matchup odds at BookMaker.eu.

Roethlisberger, of course, wasn't a part of that Sunday Night Football clash early in the season. Michael Vick had to start under center, and as a result, the Pittsburgh passing game was completely inept.

Big Ben might not be throwing oodles of touchdown passes, but since returning from his knee injury suffered in Week 7, he has averaged 351 passing yards per game, easily the best mark in the NFL in that stretch. He has completed at least one pass of 40+ yards in each game, and as a result, it is going to be tough to bet against him, especially knowing that Baltimore's secondary has been beaten, battered and bruised by injuries all season long.

That said, if Roethlisberger has a passing yards total of over 320 or so, we would balk at the idea of betting the over. There's a really good chance that this game is going to end in a blowout with the spread sitting at Pittsburgh -10 as of the publication of this article. Even though that largely hasn't stopped Mike Tomlin from airing the ball out deep to go for the jugular, there's a point that Roethlisberger just shouldn't be risked any longer.

Brown though, is a totally different conversation. He's been the most consistent receiver in the NFL this year, particularly in games in which Roethlisberger has played. Seeing 116 catches, 1,586 yards and nine TDs is out of this world as it is, but when you just look at the games Big Ben has played, Brown has averaged 9.9 receptions and 135.1 yards per game. In that mix are four games with at least 10 receptions and seven games out of 10 with at least 100 yards.

Baltimore is going to have no answers for Brown whatsoever. Historically, this is a matchup which has plagued the Ravens, and of late, they've been allowing top receivers on teams to dominate. Even though the whole fourth quarter of this game could be played with backups playing all over the field, we still wouldn't bet against Brown having one of the best games of his entire season.

No one was more frustrated with that loss to Baltimore than Brown was, as he was very local after the game about Vick getting him the ball more often. He did have nine looks, but he only had a total of five receptions for 42 yards in what has amounted to be his worst game in his last two seasons. We wouldn't bet against him this time around, as 10 catches and 130 yards isn't out of the question. There's no doubt that Brown's totals have been high for prop betting purposes, but as long as Roethlisberger is healthy, there isn't a more consistent or better play at the wide receiver position in the NFL, especially now that a ton of attention must be paid to both Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton.
