A month ago, we would have told you that Jimmy Garoppolo, Geno Smith, Matt Cassel and Robert Griffin III were all starting quarterbacks for their respective teams in Week 1. We haven't even played a down that counts yet in 2015, yet all four of these have been replaced by others. As a result, the line movement for these Week 1 games starting on Thursday has been nothing short of bizarre.

Steelers at Patriots, Thursday 8:30 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: New England -2.5 (48.5)
Current NFL Odds: New England -6.5 (51.5)
Technically, the spread this week opened up at New England -7, but if you want to go all the way back to when this line opened in April, the Pats were only -2.5. But of course, Tom Brady is no longer suspended for this one. It's proof that Brady is worth at least 4-4.5 points to the oddsmakers in relation to Garoppolo. It should also be noted though, that the Steelers are without both Le'Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant, two huge offensive weapons. Both have been suspended for Week 1. For a team which is going to be counting so heavily on its offense to make up for its lackluster defense this year, this could be horrible news for the men in black and gold.
Dolphins at Redskins, Sunday 1:00 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Miami -2.5 (44)
Current NFL Odds: Miami -4.5 (43)
To say that the oddsmakers weren't fans of the quarterback swap in D.C. is an understatement. Jay Gruden has had enough of RGIII, benching him in favor of Kirk Cousins. The line, as a result, has come up two points in favor of the Fins. Miami is still super square as we see it, as over 90 percent of the bets at BookMaker as of Tuesday morning have been on it, but it's tough to suggest that this move isn't justifiable.
Ravens at Broncos, Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Denver -4 (52)
Current NFL Odds: Denver -4 (49)
Totals don't often come down all that much in football games unless Mother Nature has anything to do with it. In this case though, we've just seen a constant drop in this total in spite of the fact that there aren't any truly notable injuries. In fact, as of Tuesday, this is the only game on the board with more than 55 percent of the bets coming in on the under. With both the Ravens and Broncos breaking in new offensive coordinators, it shouldn't be a surprise that bettors don't think this game is exceeding seven touchdowns, even with the great history of these two offenses.
Vikings at 49ers, Monday 10:20 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: San Francisco -3.5 (41)
Current NFL Odds: Minnesota -2.5 (41.5)
It isn't often that you see teams which were favored by more than a field goal end up being underdogs without quarterback changes. Oddsmakers will tell you that no one man outside of a quarterback is worth more than maybe a point or so on the NFL betting line. However, the 49ers are a bit of an exception to that rule, knowing that they have had so many defections from their roster from last season thanks to injuries, suspensions and retiring players. Then again, it should also be noted that the Niners went from 7.5 wins at the start of the season to just six at this point, the largest move we ever remember seeing for any team, even with a quarterback change, on a regular season win total. Add in there the fact that the Vikes are as trendy as could be this season, and you've got the makings for a line which has organically moved six points and could move more before it's all said and done with on Monday.
