Thanksgiving Week is always a special one in the NFL, and this year, bettors are going to have a little bit more to be thankful for on Turkey Day. For the first time in quite some time, all three of the games on Thanksgiving really mean something and could be incredibly impactful in the playoff race, and that's just the beginning of what we've got on hand on the Week 12 NFL odds.

Games of the Week
Vikings at Lions – Thursday 12:30 p.m. ET
There's always something sacred about the Lions game on Thanksgiving Day. It's an early start and is generally that scene you see when your guests are all huddled around the television while you're finishing up your turkey, and generally, by halftime, the aura has worn off from a lousy game, and everyone is ready for dinner.
This year though, the Lions are legitimately in a position to win the NFC North, and if they can win this game against the Vikings, they'll actually be clear of the rest of the field with just five games left to play in the campaign. Minnesota did end its losing streak last week against Arizona, but this is a game it has to have if it's serious about challenging for a playoff spot in a conference where the NFC East suddenly looks like a three-bid division. This should be a good one and is definitely can't miss television for NFL fans.
Chiefs at Broncos – Sunday 8:30 p.m. ET
NBC decided to flex Chiefs/Broncos in the place of Patriots/Jets, and a good call that certainly was. We still don't know how the Raiders are going to fare in Mexico City against Houston to wrap up Week 11 at the time of writing this article, but either way, these are two 7-3 teams that are still dreaming of winning the AFC West and the No. 2 seed that will very likely accompany that distinction.
With Miami, Buffalo and Indianapolis suddenly playing better football, the loser of this game is going to be punished in a big way as well, as that team will be dropped into third place in the AFC West and into a dog fight with the rest of this conference for the last Wild Card slot.
This is the first of two meetings down the stretch for these teams, but with both still playing some really hard games over the course of the rest of the year, this one is crucial. The Chiefs punted a game against Tampa Bay last week, and now, it has to deal with the Broncos, Falcons, Raiders, Titans, Broncos and Chargers to end the season, and there's no guarantee there's even three wins there. Denver has to play KC, Jacksonville, Tennessee, New England, KC again and Oakland, and again, there might not be three wins here either, especially if Trevor Siemian doesn't show some improvement under center.
