Week 14 was a bizarre one in the NFL, as all sorts of favorites and teams which were perceived to be better on the field ended up getting beaten.
The results have thrown the playoff picture into flux all over the map, though Week 15 is going to serve as a clarifier for sure for a lot of the open postseason spots.

GAME OF THE WEEK
The only game without a betting line thus far this week is the one which, for our money, is the game of the week. The AFC South can't be won on Sunday, but for all intents and purposes, the Colts and the Texans are playing for their playoff lives. The loser is going to be a game back with two to play and would lose the tiebreaker to the other for the remainder of the season.
Houston has never won a game in Indianapolis in its history, and it got bad news on Sunday when Brian Hoyer suffered a concussion. His status for this week is up in the air, which is why this line is off the board.
It's not all peaches and cream for the 6-7 Colts either. Charlie Whitehurst could be forced into starting duty after Matt Hasselbeck left last weekend's debacle against Jacksonville on two separate occasions hurting. In all likelihood though, Andrew Luck is going to get back on the field for the biggest game of the season.
WEEK 15 NFL ODDS NOTES
-There are a whopping seven road favorites this week in the NFL, and that doesn't even include the fact that both the Bills and the Dolphins are lined at a pick 'em on the road. There hasn't been any week even close this season with that many road favorites. The biggest of the bunch is Kansas City, the hottest team in the NFL. The Chiefs have opened at -7.5 against the seemingly hapless Ravens.
-There are a pair of double-digit favorites this week, both of which are expected to post huge blowout wins. The Patriots are -13.5 on the opening line against the lowly Titans, while the Browns, fresh off of their third win of the season, take on the Seahawks in Seattle and have opened at +14.
-The highest total of the week is set at 50 in the Saints/Lions game, though New Orleans deserves a lot of credit for the way it played last week on the defensive side of the ball against Tampa Bay.
-The lowest total of the week belongs to the Bengals and 49ers at just 42, a number which makes all the sense in the world considering the fact that A.J. McCarron is going to be forced to start this game in place of the injured Andy Dalton.
WEEK 15 PLAYOFF SCENARIOS
-The Panthers will clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a win and an Arizona loss.
-The Cardinals will clinch the NFC West title with a win or a Seattle loss.
-The Broncos will clinch the AFC West with a win and a Kansas City loss.
-The Bengals will clinch the AFC North with a win and a Pittsburgh loss.
-The Patriots will clinch the AFC East with a win or a Jets loss.
-The Broncos and Bengals can both clinch playoff spots with wins on Sunday.
