Week 8 is highlighted by the Sunday Night Football clash between the Broncos and the Packers, and for good reason. There are only a few times in the history of this league we've seen a pair of undefeated teams face off with each other this deep into the season. Bettors though, shouldn't be forgetting about the rest of the games on the docket in Week 8, and there has been plenty of line movement to dissect.

Lions vs. Chiefs, Sunday 9:30 a.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Kansas City -5.5
Current NFL Odds: Kansas City -4
An interesting line move here which doesn't make a ton of sense at the outset. The oddsmakers and bettors alike have been pummeling Kansas City all season long, yet when the team finally comes alive and wins a game handily, now the bandwagon has seemingly careened into a ditch. The Lions are still a dumpster fire, and for our money, they might be the most dysfunctional team in the NFL. Interestingly enough though, Matt Stafford and the Lions have emerged as the smarter of the two choices. The difference between -5.5 and -4 isn't tremendous, but it is notable and should be watched for the rest of the weekend before this tea time kickoff in Jolly Old England.
Vikings vs. Bears, Sunday 1:00 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Minnesota -1
Current NFL Odds: Chicago -1.5
It's a bit surprising to think that the Bears are favored in this game off of their bye week, but before they took their hiatus in Week 7, they were actually on a bit of a roll. In fact, winning this game could legitimately put Chicago right back in the fight for the Wild Card slots in the NFC, as shocking as that might be. The Vikes haven't been great, but they do have a new weapon in Stefon Diggs who could help complete this offense. Teddy Bridgewater continues to improve with each passing week, and if that remains the case and Adrian Peterson keeps running hard, the Vikes are going to be a threat. It's still peculiar to us to see the Bears going from a short dog to a short favorite.
Bengals vs. Steelers, Sunday 1:00 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Cincinnati -3
Current NFL Odds: Pittsburgh -1.5
Here we have yet another game where the team which was the dog at the beginning of the week is now the favorite. The Steelers are being helped out by the return of Ben Roethlisberger to the lineup, but for our money, motivation is why this spread has flipped so much. This game might be the season to Pittsburgh, and we're not being melodramatic. If this game is lost, the Bengals will have won the AFC North. Can the Steelers really win three road games and win the Super Bowl? We doubt it. That's why bettors are onboard with the idea of the hosts cutting the lead in the AFC North down to just one game.
Packers vs. Broncos, Sunday 8:30 p.m. ET
Opening NFL Odds: Pick 'Em
Current NFL Odds: Green Bay -3
The last time Peyton Manning was an underdog in a home game which wasn't played in Week 17 was back in 2008. That's a heck of a long time between games. The Packers though, are looked upon as no worse than the second best team in the NFL behind maybe New England and only New England. The Broncos have bigger fish to fry than just this game against a non-conference foe, and we suspect that the end result isn't going to play out to the billing of this being a game between two 6-0 teams. One of these team is not like the other, and the fact that Green Bay would've been favored in this game by darn near double digits if it was at Lambeau Field tells you all you need to know about Denver.
