We might only be seven weeks into the NFL season, but there is already a clear divide opening up in a lot of the divisions. In fact, in four of the eight divisions, the leader is already up at least two games in the loss column. In Week 8 though, there are some games which can really narrow that margin.

GAME OF THE WEEK
It's amazing there are still five undefeated teams in this league through six games, but that number is going to be reduced to at least four when the Broncos and Packers get it on this Sunday night.
The Broncos have an elite level defense, and that's the unit which is going to have to keep them in this game against Aaron Rodgers and one of the best offenses in the NFL.
Of course, Rodgers is only half the story in terms of the quarterback battle. Peyton Manning is nothing special at this point in his career, but he's still a future Hall of Famer and has a great head on his shoulders. He has thrown at least one pick in every game he has played this year and hasn't posted a quarterback rating beyond 70 in three straight games.
The Broncos have gotten away with a lot thanks to their defense, but if Manning isn't at the top of his game after a bye week, he and his mates are going to be in trouble. It's tough to imagine Rodgers and his offense being held in even in the low-20s in this game.
WEEK 8 NFL ODDS NOTES
-Though there are so many undefeated teams in the league, it seems obviously that the Patriots are considered the best of the bunch. They're once again the biggest favorite in Week 9, and they should stay that way when all of the games hit the board as well. New England has opened at -8 at home against the Dolphins, who have won both of their games under their new coach, Dan Campbell.
-The Thursday Night Football game between the Dolphins and the Patriots also features the highest total of the week at 51.5. The over is 4-2 in New England's first six games this year, and the team is averaging 35.5 points per game, easily the best mark in the league. The Dolphins might be a more smash mouth team now with Campbell calling the shots, but they've played back-to-back overs as well.
-On the opposite end of the spectrum, the 49ers probably have the worst offense in the NFL, and it shows here in this total in Week 9 against the Rams. The number to beat is just 39, and there's a real case to be made about that number dropping as the week progresses.
-There are three teams favored by more than a touchdown, but there are only two teams who opened up on the road as favorites. The Seahawks won't be the only team favored by more than a field goal this week, but we suspect they'll end up being the biggest road favorites. Seattle is laying five against the Cowboys in "Big D."
-Even though we mentioned before that the Broncos opened as a pick 'em against the Packers, they've already been pushed to +2.5. Assuming that Manning and the gang go off as underdogs, it'll be the first time since he came to Denver that the team went off as a home underdog. Even more notable is the fact that the last time Manning was an underdog at home in a non-Week 17 game was back in 2007.
