The New York Giants have this history of being a thorn in the side of the New England Patriots. However, these Pats seem to be a lot different this time around. They haven't been beaten and they largely haven't been challenged this year. Though many think this time around could be different, until we see New England struggle, it's tough to go against the Brady Bunch on their de facto revenge tour with properly inflated footballs.

ODDS ANALYSIS
We haven't seen a ton of line movement thus far on this game, but the subtle movements were expected. New England has gone from a flat -7 to -7 and -120 vig, though the oddsmakers seem to be hesitant to move the line up to -7.5. It's almost as if the books are baiting you into laying the lumber with the Patriots, something which should be a cause for concern.
The total was already the highest of the week at 54, but that's already gone up to 54.5 and could continue to rise.
WHEN THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS HAVE THE BALL
The Patriots might be setting the world on fire, but live bettors shouldn't just blindly be betting on them. This is a team with really only six healthy offensive linemen, and Dion Lewis is now done for the season.
That could mean a little more of LeGarrette Blount and the ground game.
However, the Giants don't have a great pass rush right now, especially with Jason Pierre-Paul not really back in the swing of things quite yet. If the offensive line can hold up and give Tom Brady just a second or two to make up his mind where the ball needs to go, it's all over with just as it has been for everyone else Brady’s run up against.
The history is here to know the model of how to beat New England. Whether the Giants can force Brady into quick decisions and play bump and run coverage remains to be seen, but it's doubtful considering the fact that they rank No. 31 in the league against the pass and have allowed more yards than anyone else in football.
WHEN THE NEW YORK GIANTS HAVE THE BALL
When you think of the Patriots, you think of the team that scores 30+ points on seemingly everyone, covers every game and pushes every game past the total. That said, this defense is legit. The Redskins had nothing going against this unit, and the best way to score against New England is to fall behind big in the fourth quarter.
A whopping 31 points have been scored against this team in the final two minutes of games which were out of hand. When you consider the fact that the Pats have allowed a total of just 143 points, it's a real testament to just how good Matt Patricia's defense has performed.
Live bettors need to not fall for the trap. Sure, there's a point in every game that New England won't cover a live betting spread, but don't just assume this defense is going to get scored upon.
The Giants have been hot offensively, scoring at least 27 points in three straight games and at least 24 in six out of seven, but there have been some real duds in the mix. A struggling Eli Manning isn't out of the question.
