The Detroit Lions were 1-7 when they went to Lambeau Field three weeks ago. They hadn't won on the Frozen Tundra in literally decades, and they were 10.5-point underdogs. They won that day 18-16 in spite of the fact that they tried their best to give the game away, and they haven't looked back since with consecutive wins. If they can end this three-game home stand with yet another win, it isn't out of the question to think the Lions can get back in the playoffs while pushing the Green Bay Packers closer to the rest of the pack.

ODDS ANALYSIS
The Packers are still favored in this game at -3, but the idea that they're in a game so close to a pick 'em is borderline insane if you consider where these teams were a few weeks ago. However, it's clear that Green Bay isn't the same team that it was before the start of this skid of four losses in five games.
The total opened up on Sunday at 47.
WHEN THE GREEN BAY PACKERS HAVE THE BALL
We have no doubt that Aaron Rodgers is playing this week after losing feeling in his non-throwing hand after a shot to the funny bone on Thanksgiving night against the Bears. However, it's worth watching him handing the ball off and taking snaps. Live bettors shouldn't be surprised if there are a couple balls put on the ground. That could play no role in the game whatsoever, and it could play a huge role.
What's certain is that the deep passing game just isn't here. The Packers haven't had one 70+ yard play this year. Rodgers had a knack for getting the ball down the field in a hurry to Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, but with Nelson out and Cobb getting more attention, we're just not seeing that same degree of explosiveness.
As a result, the man who is going to have to shoulder the load is Eddie Lacy. He's had consecutive 100+ yard games on the ground since getting effectively benched for James Starks, the latter of which has had a good time getting going in his limited touches as well.
The Lions have been winning games thanks to their defense of late, and if this unit can take advantage of the beaten up offensive line and get to Rodgers, they could be the next team to shut down Rodgers. Keep an eye on the battle in the trenches while live betting this game.
WHEN THE DETROIT LIONS HAVE THE BALL
Megatron has officially woken up. Calvin Johnson has six straight games with at least five catches and at least 80 yards, and he busted out with three touchdowns on Thanksgiving Day against the horrible Philadelphia secondary.
Johnson had six catches for 81 yards when these teams met a few weeks ago, and he's going to play a big role in this one, too.
Green Bay's defense didn't have a single sack against Detroit in the first clash, and as a result, Matt Stafford was largely able to do anything he wanted.
The fact of the matter though, is that live bettors could see better out of the Lions this Thursday. Detroit only had a total of 45 rushing yards on 26 carries, and Stafford only hit one pass for more than 19 yards.
Green Bay's defense has had its shaky moments for sure, and if there are some holes punched in this back seven, the Lions could be big in NFL live betting.
