After pulling off an ugly win at home in Week 1, Seattle was upset by a poor Los Angeles Rams team last week -- a squad that San Francisco shutout in its season opener -- while the 49ers followed up their blowout win with a 46-28 loss on the road to the Super Bowl runner-up Carolina Panthers.
In a division where every team has already suffered a loss just two games into the season, this is an important game for Seattle as it aims to outlast the Cardinals for the NFC West title.
This contest in Week 3 of the regular season will go down on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at 4:05 p.m. ET at CenturyLink Field.

Odds Analysis
CenturyLink Field is one of the loudest stadiums to play in thanks to the Seahawks fans, affectionately called the ‘12th Man’. While that will help, the team’s lackluster play has bettors concerned, as a whopping 81 percent of the money is going toward San Francisco to cover.
Neither team is an offensive juggernaut, and even with the low scoring total, the “under” is being chosen at a 72 percent clip.
Injury Report
Ray-Ray Armstrong -- The 49ers inside linebacker, who had an interception against the Rams in Week 1, is likely done for the season after suffering a pectoral injury. Gerald Hodges and Michael Wilhoite will be expected to fill the void.
Tyler Lockett -- Seattle’s offense could have a star limited on Sunday as Lockett is currently listed as questionable for Week 3 after spraining his knee last week. He returned to the game, so that was a good sign, but it’s unknown if swelling will slow him down. He has seven receptions for 116 yards so far this season.
Thomas Rawls -- The running back was kicked in the leg in Sunday’s loss to the Rams and did not return to the game. He is also listed as questionable heading into this weekend. Rawls carried the ball seven times for minus-seven yards before the injury in Los Angeles.
Key Stat
15. That’s the number of points that Seattle’s offense has scored in the first two games combined. With an injured Russell Wilson, the Seahawks have really struggled to find the end zone and have put up the second fewest points in the league so far.
Wilson sprained his ankle in the third quarter of his Week 1 win against the Dolphins and lacked the mobility to do much of anything against the Rams in Week 2 . Seattle’s offensive line didn’t buy him much time either and Wilson was sacked twice and absorbed several hits behind the line of scrimmage in last Sunday’s loss.
Pete Carroll never second-guessed his decision to play Wilson last week and hasn’t hinted at the possibility of sitting him against San Francisco. The aforementioned injuries to Lockett and Rawls have also hurt the offensive production, while Doug Baldwin is also suffering from a knee injury but should be OK.
Free ATS Pick
The Seahawks opened the season looking very flat but still managed a 12-10 win over Miami in the season opener. The health and mobility of Wilson will determine what the team is capable this week against the 49ers.
The offensive line has been a mess and this team hasn’t looked like a contender even against less-than-stellar competition. The defense is great, but the offense needs to pick it up in order to cover.
The 49ers played really good against the Rams but weren’t as solid against Carolina. This is a rebuilding season and while the betting public is backing them, don’t overreact with them.
The Seahawks are at home and should dominate defensively. It’s hard to see them struggling this badly for another week and finally Seattle should be able to coast to an easy win.
NFL Odds: Seahawks 23, 49ers 10
