Most of the top players in The Race to Dubai Rankings are in the field this week for the Turkish Airlines Open. Tommy Fleetwood leads the rankings, but he is not the favorite for this tournament in Turkey, as Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose are listed as co-favorites at odds of +750. Rose is coming off a win last week in China to move up to third place in the rankings behind Fleetwood and Sergio Garcia. Let’s look at this event, odds and predictions.

Odds Analysis
Henrik Stenson +750
You have to give Stenson a good chance to win this week, as he played well in China last week, finishing in a tie for second. He led the field in driving accuracy and that is a big key for this week. He finished seventh in this event in 2013 and third in 2014.
Justin Rose +750
Rose is coming off a win last week at the HSBC Champions and he has played well in Turkey in the past, as he took third in 2013 and he won a match play event in Turkey in 2012. It is tough to win in back-to-back weeks, but Rose could pull off the double.
Tyrrell Hatton +1250
Hatton has been very consistent of late and he is fifth in the Race to Dubai. He has finished of 3rd, 8th, first, first and 11th in his last five starts. He tied for 10th in this event last year.
Matthew Fitzpatrick +1950
Fitzpatrick tied for 9th last week in China and his GIR and scrambling stats make him a real threat to win in Turkey. He tied for 26th in this event two years ago.
Tommy Fleetwood +2050
The Race to Dubai leader is still in good shape and he could gain even more ground this week, as Garcia is not playing. His best finish in this event is a tie for 22nd.
Bernd Wiesberger +2750
The first of my longshots this week is Wiesberger. He tied for 8th in this event last year and his played well in China last week with a tie for 9th. He ranked first in GIR last week and this course in Turkey is one that should favor golfers who rank highly in GIR.
Eddie Pepperell +3050
The last six starts for Pepperell have seen him finish 5th, 3rd, 3rd, missed cut, 7th and 10th. He tied for 10th in Turkey in 2014 at Montgomerie Maxx. Based on his current form, Pepperell should be in the mix this week.
Course: The Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort will host this event for the second straight year. The course is located close to the Mediterranean Sea and measures 7,186 yards for a par 71. The course runs through a forest and features large, fast greens and water hazards on eight holes. Accuracy on this course is more important than distance.
Event Notes
This is the sixth of eight Rolex Series events for the year and the first of three that will conclude the Race to Dubai. No player has ever successfully defended his title at the Turkish Airlines Open. Thorbjorn Olesen won this tournament last year by three shots, the largest margin of victory in the event’s four-year history. Victor Dubuisson won this event in 2013 and 2015, while Brooks Koepka won it three years ago.
