BookMaker Sportsbook offers a wide variety of prop bets for the Masters that savvy gamers need to take advantage of, so let’s get started picking a few winners.
Will the high score be under or over 82.5?
Augusta National is going to play tough this week for a couple of reasons. The wind is suppose to blow close to 25 m.p.h. and the temperatures will be chilly forcing players to struggle with their flight/ball control. Secondly, Jordan Spieth tortured the course and field last year by ringing up 28 birdies - that won’t happen two years in a row. The course will be set up tougher this year and with the windy forecast, someone is going to shoot OVER 82.5.
Will Phil Mickelson finish under or over 16.5 place?
Mickelson loves drama, loves the course and loves showing off his skills on the highest platform. This line should be closer to 12.5! Given Lefty’s past success at Augusta National and recent form so far this year, he is a lock to make a run at the Green Jacket and easily finish in the top 16.5. Play the UNDER.
Will Zach Johnson finish under or over 32.5 place?
They are giving Johnson absolutely No Respect! His current form is solid, he already has one Green Jacket in his closet and let’s face it, Johnson is a world class player. This line should be closer to 20.5, making this wager an easy winner, winner, chicken parmigiana dinner.
What will be the low score of the tourney, under or over 65.5?
You would think someone would get hot and bust a 65, but think again, the course is going to play difficult and the swirling winds make this a safe bet to take the over 65.5. Someone will shoot 66 or 67, but a 65 is going to be scarce. Take the OVER 65.5.
Will Sergio Garcia finish under or over 26.5 place?
Garcia is one of the best ball-strikers in the world and the forecast will only help the Spaniard. His putting is a huge question mark every time he plays, but if the course plays tough, it will even things out for Garcia and he will easily finish in the top 26.5.
Who will win the 2016 Masters?
As far as picking a Masters winner this week, stay away from Jason Day. Everyone loves Day this week and why not, he’s won two tournaments in a row and his form is sizzling, BUT it is very difficult to win three weeks in a row, matter of fact, since 1923 it’s only happened 25 times. The last player to do it was Rory McIlroy in 2014 and before that you have to go back to 2004 when Vijay Singh won three in a row. It’s not going to happen so don’t waste your money on Jason Day.
The winner will be a player who has won here before, has a win this year and is in good form coming into the event. Hello, Adam Scott. The Aussie puts his skills on display and silences critics that say he can’t putt well enough with the conventional putter and wins by two strokes.
