Wow, the season is flying by quickly! The last stop on the Florida swing is this week in Orlando at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard. Four of the top ten and 12 of the top 30 in the current world rankings are on hand.
Adam Scott +775 tries to become the first player to win three events in a row since Rory McIlroy +575 did it two summers ago. Justin Rose +1500, Henrik Stenson +1300, Hideki Matsuyama +2800 and Jason Day +1400 are all scheduled to compete. Two-time defending champion Matt Every +8000 is also in the field.
Plenty of European Tour players are on hand; Andy Sullivan +8400, Matthew Fitzpatrick +150500, Thomas Pieters +8250, Francesco Molinari +15000, Paul Casey +4000 and Luke Donald +14000 all are scheduled to give it a go this week.
Bay Hill Club and Lodge is the host venue and the layout measures 7,419 yards and plays to a par 72. The 1961 Dick Wilson design got a serious thumbs-up when Arnold Palmer proclaimed it the “best course in Florida” upon his first visit in 1965 – igniting a lifelong devotion that spurred him to buy the place and make it his winter headquarters. The PGA TOUR arrived in 1979, when the old Florida Citrus Open relocated across town to “Arnie’s Place.” The finishing three holes always seem to provide the drama that have viewers glued to the telecast.

ODDS ANALYSIS
Scott Brown +12500 offers the best VALUE on the board. Brown continues to play well on a weekly basis, especially on tough courses. He has two top ten’s in his last two starts - both in Florida - and also has done well at this week’s venue with a top 15 finish back in 2013. The unheralded Brown can flat out play!
One player to stay away from this week is Brandt Snedeker +4500. He continues to battle a rib injury which forced him to withdraw from his last two starts. Even if he does tee it up, it only takes one swing to re-aggravate his rib injury.
William McGirt +11500 is another player with immense VALUE. He has made four of five cuts in Orlando and is trending in the right direction with a T20 and T8 in his last two starts. McGirt is due to finally break through and pick up his first PGA Tour victory.
