The PGA Tour heads east to Cromwell, Connecticut for this week’s Travelers Championship. World No. 4 Bubba Watson ( +1000 ) and World No. 7 Sergio Garcia ( +1200 ) are joined by seven other players that are currently ranked in the top 30 in the world rankings.
Watson missed the cut in his last start, while Garcia secured a T18. Both players have had huge success at TPC River Highlands, Watson winning in 2010 and Garcia, a runner-up a year ago.
Other notables scheduled to play include Patrick Reed ( +1851 ), Louis Oosthuizen ( +2177 ), Zach Johnson ( +2892 ) and Brandt Snedeker ( +1350 ).
TPC River Highlands is the host course this week and players will need to make a ton of birdies to contend. The average winning score over the last 10 years is 15 under par, the same score Streelman shot last year to pick up the victory.
Six out of the last winners of the Travelers Championship have been first-timers. Hello Justin Thomas ( +4001 ) and Tony Finau ( +4022 ).

Billy Horschel ( +2076 ) is a great player but after watching him take a tomahawk swipe with his putter into the sixth green in the final round of last week’s U.S.Open, the little respect I did have for him is long gone. What he did was UNacceptable! He will get fined for his actions, but when you are making millions of dollars, the thousand dollar fine is not enough punishment. The “golf gods” are coming for you, Billy, and they will get you. He dresses like a clown and acts like one to. FADE Horschel!
Hunter Mahan ( +4624 ) is the leading money winner in this event and has gone super-low too many times to count. He has struggled most of the year, but his history at the Travelers Championship is impressive, winning in 2007, second in 2008 and four other top ten’s.
