This week's Barracuda Championship is the only PGA TOUR event that uses the Modified Stableford scoring format, which encourages aggressive play. He backed up his T12 at The Open Championship with T22 at RBC Canadian and T15 at QLN last week. he is close to making the next step and his style of play fits this week’s format where birdies offset the bogies.
Vaughn Taylor +3550 is a two-time winner of this event and should be comfortable regardless of the scoring or the routing. He's made his last five cuts on the TOUR and his last three events have seen him card 63-65-64 and he hasn't made less than 19 birdies in those events. He is definitely a player to keep your eye on.
