This is a Ryder Cup year and American Captain Davis Love III will have quite a list to keep track of as the year unfolds. There are a few locks to make the team but this could be a year where we see the changing of the guard and see multiple first-timers on the team. The days of Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker and Hunter Mahan may be over, opening the door for first-timers like Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka and Kevin Kisner.
We will know more once we get into the summer months. We will know who is heating up and who is getting cold, but for now, we may as well take advantage of the early betting odds that BookMaker sportsbook has on the board for who will make the 2016 American Ryder Cup team.

Kevin Kisner +200, Bill Haas +275, Justin Thomas +150 and Kevin Na +335 all have great value and three of the four players will make the team! So, you do the math - bet all four and reap the benefits.
OOPS, they have Peter Uihlein on the board and he is not even a member of the PGA Tour. We will give them a mulligan, or two. Uihlein has about as much chance of making the team as I do - I'm not a member, just like Uihlein.
Tiger Woods +125 is a total waste. Woods doesn't even know if he will play this year. The odds for him should be much higher, like +500. His good buddy, Steve Stricker +3300 is also on the board, why, I don't know. Stricker is finished, hardly plays and is gearing up for the Champions Tour, not the PGA Tour.
One for the road...Robert Streb +500 is a player to keep your eye on. He doesn't win a lot but churns out top tens on a weekly basis and that bodes well for him earning Ryder Cup points and making the team. We are always looking for value and Streb offers just that, VALUE!
