Danny Willett +2086 is a must play this week. The Englishman announced on Twitter earlier this week that he has a first baby on the way so there’ll be an extra spring in his step in Scotland this week. He arrived early to get some extra practice in and will be firing on all cylinders at a place where he has already tasted success, having finished T6 in July’s Open Championship. Willett was also runner-up in this event in 2010. His T3 in the Italian Open two weeks ago shows me that he is in great form yet again.

Graeme McDowell +5227 hasn’t had a top ten since his first start of the year back in January at the desert Dubai Classic. G-Mac also needs a strong finish to stay in the Race to Dubai. He sits in the No. 70 position and needs to claw his way inside the top 60 in order to qualify. Last week, he once again disappointed his backers with another average finish of T36. He has to do better than that if he wants to make a move. Until the Irishman shows me something different, I am fading him.

Victor Dubuisson +5223 has had an erratic year and also a very up and down record in this week’s event. The Frenchman missed the cut in 2010, 2014 and 2015 but in 2012 he cracked the top five after riding an opening 62 at St. Andrews. His form this year has been filled with disappointing finishes so he remains hard to predict and a player to stay away from until we see some improvement on a weekly basis.
