The PGA Tour travels south of the border to Mexico for the OHL Classic at Mayakoba as the wrap around season continues. Defending champion Graeme McDowell +3100 and last year’s playoff losers Jason Bohn +8000 and Russell Knox +1200 headline this year’s field. Veteran Jim Furyk +1650 makes his season debut and is joined by Englishman Luke Donald +4250, Jon Rahm +1500, Keegan Bradley +2000, Harris English +2750 and Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa +9000. Ian Poulter +6000 has five starts left on his medical extension and needs to kick it into gear if he wants to earn exempt status.
Veteran players have done well at this tournament winning seven of the nine tournaments. Young guns under age 30 have only been victorious twice. Lookout Jerry Kelly +7200!
The Course: El Camaleon Golf Club will host the event for the tenth consecutive year, The track measures 7,039 yards and plays to a par 71. Designer Greg Norman got creative in his creation using three distinct landscapes – tropical jungle, dense mangroves and sand-lined oceanfront along the Riviera Maya. The course is awesome and the sites are mesmerizing. The course opened in 2004 and three years later was ready to host an event.
The weather will be a factor. Wind and rain is always a possibility this time of year in Mexico and last year caused a Monday finish. The wind will also make things interesting if it blows. If the wind blows, 10-11 under-par will win. If the weather is perfect, we could see a shootout where 18-20-under par wins. Harris English shot 21-under par in 2013.

ODDS ANALYSIS
In case you didn’t know it, Jon Rahm +1500 is a stud and scoring machine. He never seems to play bad. This year in his two starts, he has two top 15’s. He also finished tenth here a year ago, so he knows the track and it wouldn’t surprise me if he picks up his first PGA Tour win this week.
Keegan Bradley +2000 was in a major slump for almost two years, but give him credit, he hung in there and now is back playing great golf. In his last two starts he registered his first two back-to-back top 10’s since 2013. By the way, he tied for eighth here a year ago. Ride him while he’s hot!
Harris English +2750 won here in 2013 and has the tournament record of 21-under par. He is a model of consistency making 13 consecutive cuts. The former Clemson Tiger racked up a tie for fourth last week in Vegas and will be in the mix on Sunday afternoon in Mexico.
LONGSHOT: Jason Bohn +8000
Bohn has a knack for playing well here. In his last three starts in Mexico, his worst finish is a tie for seventh, which included a playoff loss a year ago. Bohn offers gamers the best VALUE on the board and is a play in all formats.
