The PGA Tour is back in action north of the border in Ontario, Canada for the 2016 RBC Canadian Open. World No. 1 Jason Day +515 and U.S. Open champion Dustin Johnson +545 headline this year’s event. Day happens to be the defending champion as well and the win was huge for the Aussie as he went on a roll winning six more times in the next seven months and helped vault him to the best player in the world. Johnson is making a rare start in Canada and is always a contender any time he tees it up.
The lineup includes 35 players returning from The Open Championship at Royal Troon.
Other notables to keep your eyes on are 2006 and 2007 champion Jim Furyk +2650, 2013 winner Brandt Snedeker +2400, Matt Kuchar +1600 and rookies Jon Rahm +5000 and Bryson DeChambeau +7500.
Key hole: The tournament may come down to the very last hole. The finishing hole at Glen Abbey Golf Club is a risk / reward par five that most players can reach in two shots. The 524-yard par five is short by today’s standards and all the players in the field will have a shot at hitting the green in two, if they can hit the fairway off the tee. This hole was the scene of Tiger Woods most famous shot, a 218 yard six iron from the right fairway bunker that was in the air for what seemed like a day, it landed softly for an easy two putt birdie that sealed the win. We could see a two-shot swing here which adds drama to the tournament and makes this one of the best finishing holes on the PGA Tour.

ODDS ANALYSIS
Jon Rahm +5000 is making his fourth start on the PGA Tour and is well on his way to securing playing privileges for next year. The former No. 1 ranked amateur started his professional career in style with a third place finish at the Quicken Loans National in which he was in contention all the way to the end. The Spaniard needs one more good finish to climb into the top 125 and earn exempt status on the PGA Tour.
Veteran Jim Furyk +2650 loves playing in Canada! He won this event in back-to-back years, both played at Glen Abbey Golf Club. If you're looking for a safe bet, Furyk is as safe as they come and should contend from start to finish.
If you like sleepers or long shots, take a chance on Englishman Matthew Fitzpatrick +10050. The former US Am champion has been a hit or miss candidate all year, but needs to string a few good finishes together in order to secure a spot on the Ryder Cup team. The pressure is on the young man and he has the talent to rise to the occasion and get the job done. Fitzpatrick at + 10050 offers gamers the best value on the board.
