Masters champion Danny Willett +4600 makes his first start since his epic victory at Augusta. This will be his second start at The PLAYERS having missed the cut a year ago.

In the history of the PLAYERS Championship, no player has ever been crowned back-to-back - not good news for Rickie Fowler +1850.

Jim Furyk +17050 makes his second start of the year after having wrist surgery in February. He lives minutes from the course and you would think that his type of game would be a perfect fit for the layout of TPC Sawgrass, but surprisingly, Furyk is still searching for his first PLAYERS victory.

TPC Sawgrass - Stadium course will host this year’s tournament for the 35th time. The Pete Dye layout measures 7,215 yards and plays to a par 72. The Stadium course tests all parts of a player’s game and plays no favorites, giving everyone a chance to win. Built from 415 acres of wooded wetlands bought for $1 by then-commissioner Deane Beman, architect Dye designed a masterpiece where legends are made. He made sure no two consecutive holes play in the same direction, doglegs were created in both directions and the course offers both short and long holes. The par three, No. 17, with the island green is perhaps the most creative hole in golf.

TV Coverage: Thursday-Friday, 1-7 p.m. ET - Golf Channel. Saturday-Sunday, 2-7 p.m. - NBC.

ODDS ANALYSIS

Hideki Matsuyama +2500 barely made the cut last week but came back to post scores of 70-69 on the weekend to vault to a T11. In his only two starts at TPC Sawgrass, the Japanese star has played well with a T23 and T17. He is worth a look in all formats and may become the first player from Japan to win the PLAYERS, this week!

Sergio Garcia +2800 loves playing at TPC Sawgrass. The Spaniard has cashed 14 of 16 times, with five top four finishes, that includes a win and two runner-up finishes. He ranks near the top in greens in regulation and there is something about the course that brings the best out of Garcia. He is a play in all formats this week.

Russell Knox +6250 offers gamers the best value on the board. Knox went to college at nearby Northern Florida and has played the course hundreds of times. Knox hits the ball straight and hits a lot of greens - two components that are paramount for success at TPC Sawgrass.

Ever since Smylie Kaufman went on vacation to the Bahamas with fellow stars Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler, his game has been a mess. He missed the cut in New Orleans and withdrew last week, citing a neck problem. Maybe he is still hungover! Kaufman will struggle again this week and pack his bags up early, missing another cut and paving the way for an easy matchup winner for us - Fade Smylie!
