The Nashville Predators have survived literally everything in these playoffs. They were down 3-2 in the series against Anaheim and fought back to win the series. They were down 0-2 in this series as well and have knotted things up.
But most importantly, they were able to score the goal against the San Jose Sharks to win Game 4 after looking dead in the water several times over the course of the evening.
Now, on what has become a very short turnaround, can the Preds muster more and pull off another upset in San Jose in Game 5?

ODDS ANALYSIS
The Preds haven't been favored in a game yet in this series, and they aren't even going to be close to that in Game 5.
San Jose was favored by -152 and -163 margins in the first two games of this series, and it'll be tough to see a number posted any shorter than at least -150 for Game 5. Odds have it, the number will be closer to -170.
GOALIE REPORT
Pekka Rinne and Martin Jones were awesome in overtime, and it was going to take a mad scramble or a weird deflection for either of these men to be beat.
Rinne was just one shot better than Jones on this night. He stopped 44-of-47 shots in the biggest game of his career, including turning away all 24 he faced over the three periods in overtime.
Jones' luck finally ran out in the third overtime. He was leaving a lot of rebounds out in front the whole night, and he got the benefit of four different Nashville shots hitting the post. He finished 41-of-45 and should have nothing taken away from him for the way he played that OT period, but he wasn't the better of the goaltenders on this night.
LIVE BETTING
Mike Fisher was brought to Nashville a few years ago to add a goal scoring presence up front to a team which badly needed it. For all intents and purposes, he's been a disappointment, but he's going to go down in history as the first man to ever win an overtime home game for the Predators in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Fisher was one of the underrated stars of those three OT periods before becoming the hero, as he bumped and grinded with the best San Jose lines. He was often matched up with Joe Pavelski, and for the most part, he held his own, particularly on the defensive end of the ice.
That's why the Predators have made this a series once again after falling down 0-2.
QUICK PICK
You just have to wonder what more the Predators have left in the tank. They've had to scratch and claw throughout this entire series, and after putting so much into winning Games 3 and 4, especially after the seven-game series with Anaheim, is there anything they could possibly be bringing to the table to win Game 5? We just don't see it.
The Sharks were the older of the two teams, but there were many points in that marathon game in which they looked the fresher of the two clubs, and Peter DeBoer had a lot more confidence in his back lines than Peter Laviolette did. So yes, Nashville scored the victory to level this series, but we think the short turnaround is going to do it in once again as it did in Game 1.
NHL Odds: Sharks 3, Predators 0
