UFC 206 on December 10th is nearly set as more fights have been added to the card but the bout everyone wants to see, Georges St-Pierre vs. Michael Bipsing is not one of them. The UFC added a bout between Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis in what could end up as the co-feature and also added a fight between Mitch Gagnon and Matthew Lopez. UFC 206 will feature Daniel Cormier taking on Anthony Johnson for the second time as the two met at UFC 187 last year with Cormier winning by submission in the third round.

Valerie Letourneau vs. Viviane Pereira
John Moraga vs. Zach Makovsky
John Makdessi vs. Lando Vannata
Drew Dober vs. Olivier Aubin-Mercier
Jason Saggo vs. Rustam Khabilov
Nikita Krylov vs. Misha Cirkunov
Doo Ho Choi vs. Cub Swanson
Chad Laprise vs. Li Jingliang
Mitch Gagnon vs. Matthew Lopez
The latest additions to the card are Pettis against Holloway in a featherweight bout and Gagnon vs. Lopez in a bantamweight fight.
Pettis is 19-5 in his career while Holloway is 16-3. Pettis is a former UFC lightweight champion and he won his featherweight debut beating Charles Oliveira by submission in late August. This fight against Holloway won’t be easy as Holloway has won his last nine fights. He has not lost since 2013 and is coming off a win over Ricardo Lamas at UFC 199. Holloway has the third longest active winning streak in the UFC behind Jon Jones who has won 13 in a row and Demetrious Johnson who has won 10 straight. Holloway has the dubious distinction of the longest winning streak in UFC history without getting a title shot.
Gagnon is 12-3 in his career while Lopez is 8-1. Gagnon has not even fought since losing to Renan Barao in December of 2014. Gagnon tore his ACL in that fight and he also had a meniscus tear. Gagnon had won three fights prior to his loss to Barao. Lopez is coming off his first loss as he was beaten by Rani Yahya in his first UFC fight.
St-Pierre vs. Bisping Not Happening Yet
UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping would like to be fighting Georges St-Pierre at UFC 206. Bisping said that he had already agreed to fight St-Pierre and that the UFC had been trying to work out the matchup. The negotiations obviously fell through as UFC president Dana White said the fight isn’t happening in Toronto. “There is no Bisping vs. GSP fight in Toronto," White said. "I know Mike wants it but it's not happening."
St-Pierre also wanted the fight saying to Bisping, "Nothing would make me more happy in the world to fight you in Toronto, Michael," he said. "Last week I met with Ari [Emanuel, CEO of WME and new UFC owner] and I made peace with Dana [White]. I tried to resolve things but unfortunately, right now, it's not happening. Hopefully things will change soon. Thank you."
St-Pierre said that his contract with the UFC is no longer valid but the UFC disagreed and said that St-Pierre is still under contract. Based on what has happened recently it seems like the UFC is correct as St-Pierre recently met with the new UFC owner to try and resolve the situation. St-Pierre has not fought since 2013 when he beat Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.
The UFC has done really well in the past when holding events in Canada as they had more than 15,000 for UFC 165 but there are serious concerns about the attendance at UFC 206 in Toronto as many fans have said they will boycott the event if Canadian favorite St-Pierre is not fighting or if he is not released from his UFC contract.
