More Odds Posted For the Super Stacked UFC 192 Card on October 3

Odds-Update.ac

UFC 192 is quickly shaping up to be the most loaded card of the fall season. Headlined by a light heavyweight championship bout between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustaffson, the main card also features two title eliminators and a pivotal flyweight clash.

So of course Bookmaker’s got you covered with early odds you can bet on now.

DANIEL CORMIER VS. ALEXANDER GUSTAFFSON

OUR CURRENT ODDS: Cormier at -360, Gustaffson at +280

Cormier is the champ and a heavy favorite over Gustaffson, who is best known for giving Jon Jones the biggest test of his career. When the fight was first announced, Cormier opened at -300 with Gustaffson at +250. The shift is evidence that betting has come in heavy on the champion, who opened a lot of eyes by dominating Anthony Johnson in his most recent outing.

Personally, I think Gustaffson is a fantastic value, as his height, range and boxing presents a ton of problems for the stocky Cormier.

RASHAD EVANS VS. RYAN BADER

OUR CURRENT ODDS: Evans at -160, Bader at +130

It’s been nearly two years since we’ve seen “Suga” Rashad Evans in action – the guy’s last fight came against a now retired Chael Sonnen. But a healthy Evans has always been one of the division’s best fighters. However, he’s 35 now – an age when many athletes begin to decline.

Ryan Bader has forced his way into the title picture with four straight wins, including a signature victory over Phil Davis in his most recent outing. Should he beat Evans, it’d be extremely difficult to deny him a title shot. Even Cormier admits as much.

JOHNY HENDRICKS VS. TYRON WOODLEY

OUR CURRENT ODDS: Hendricks at -296, Woodley at +228

Many people, Hendricks included, thought that Bigg Rigg deserved another shot at champion Robbie Lawler. However, the UFC elected to make the former champion face Woodley in what equates to a title eliminator. There’s plenty to love about this matchup, starting with the fact that we’ll get to see two elite wrestlers with knockout power square off.

ALI BAGAUTINOV VS. JOE BENAVIDEZ

OUR CURRENT ODDS: Bagautinov at +275, Benavidez at -335

The flyweight division might be paper thin, but these are two legitimate top-5 guys squaring off. While it’s not a certainty that the winner will get a shot at flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson – provided he gets past John Dodson at UFC 191 – there are plenty of title implications in this bout.

If you’re one of those MMA fans that hate watching smaller fighters, you’re missing out on what should be a fantastic matchup between two men with elite technical skills.
