UFC FIGHT NIGHT 78, November 21
Kelvin Gastelum -160 vs. Matt Brown +130
Two of the welterweight division’s top fighters will square off in a matchup with plenty of title implications. As is the case with any Matt Brown fight, expect a ton of violence. For Gastelum, this is an opportunity for the young welterweight to prove that he’s every bit the title contender that the media expects him to be.
UFC FIGHT NIGHT 79, November 28
Benson Henderson -365 vs. Thiago Alves +285
Former lightweight champion Benson Henderson continues his moneyweight foray into 170 against former welterweight title challenger Thiago Alves. If Henderson can pull out yet another victory against a bigger opponent, we’d have to seriously consider him a top-10 fighter at welterweight. The last time he fought at 170, Henderson pulled out a thrilling comeback victory against a much bigger Brandon Thatch.
UFC FIGHT NIGHT 80, December 10
Joanne Calderwood +380 vs. Paige VanZant -570
VanZant has quickly become the biggest star in the women’s strawweight division, but her rise has attracted a lot of haters who feel that the media attention is based on her attractive looks. Calderwood, an established striker, has the next opportunity to derail the hype train. Given that JoJo loves to bang and VanZant never stops coming forward, this should be a wildly entertaining bout.
THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 22 FINALE, December 11
Chad Mendes +140 vs. Frankie Edgar -170
This is a fight that could easily headline a pay-per-view card, and we’re getting it for free. Edgar and Mendes are both top-4 fighters at featherweight, and each has an elite arsenal of striking and wrestling that anyone can appreciate. If Edgar wins, it all but guarantees a title shot for the former lightweight champ.
UFC 194, December 12
There are too many reasons to list for you not to miss this fight. Jose Aldo has been a top-3 pound-for-pound fighter for years and is the only champion the featherweight division has ever known. Conor McGregor took the world by storm with his words and more importantly, his electric striking arsenal. Now, they’ll finally collide after a war of words that has gone on for more than a year.

Donald Cerrone +210 vs. Rafael dos Anjos -270
Two elite strikers. The lightweight championship on the line. All on free TV. “Cowboy” Cerrone, on an eight-fight win streak, will get the chance to avenge a loss against the last man to beat him. Rafael dos Anjos shocked the world by handing Anthony Pettis the worst beating of his career to win the belt. Can he hold onto it in the UFC’s most loaded division?
