CAN HOLLY HOLM LAST GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND?

Ronda Rousey -1625

Holly Holm +948

It’s not a question of whether Rousey will win, but how quickly she’ll do so. Currently, the over/under on the main event - Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm - is set at 1.5 rounds, with the under at a whopping -400. Rousey’s past three fights have ended in less than a minute, and only one of her 12 career bouts has gone out of the first round.

Holm is a decorated boxer and a tough fighter, but she’s never met anyone like Rousey. In fact, there’s never been another fighter like Ronda, period. If Holm can get past the round total that our oddsmakers have set, that is a major accomplishment on its own.

IS JOANNA JEDRZEJCZYK EVEN MORE DANGEROUS THAN ROUSEY?

Joanna Jedrzejczyk -2000

Valerie Letourneau +900

There’s a reason that the UFC elected to put women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the co-main event of a card that’s expected to draw the largest live crowd in UFC history: the Polish fighter is one of the most electric fighters on the roster. A former world champion in Muay Thai, J-Check violently picks apart her opponents, leaving them a battered, bloody mess.

With the exception of Claudia Gadelha, there doesn’t seem to be anyone at strawweight that can even remotely challenge Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau is a solid fighter that trains with one of the best camps in the world, and she’s an even bigger underdog that Holly Holm.

THERE WILL BE BLOOD, PART DEUX

Antonio Silva +195

Mark Hunt -230

The first bout between Antonio Silva and Mark Hunt resulted in one of the most memorable heavyweight slugfests in UFC history. Simply put, the two hard-hitting big men tore into each other from the starting bell, which produced a rare draw. Now, they’ll meet again for a conclusive decision, and it’s safe to say that they’ll paint the mat red.

URIAH HALL’S UNLIKELY TITLE RUN

Uriah Hall -120

Robert Whittaker -110

Since emerging as one of the most hyped TUF prospects in recent memory, Uriah Hall’s inconsistency and failure to capitalize on his explosive striking skills has drawn the ire of many, including UFC president Dana White. However, the New York native just notched an early favorite for Knockout of the Year against a perennial contender in Gegard Mousasi. We always knew the talent was there, but if Hall has finally put it all together, the middleweight division has to be on notice.

FROM YOUTUBE TO THE UFC

Ben Nguyen -140

Ryan Benoit +120

Although Ben Nguyen will be making his UFC debut on the Fight Pass prelims, there’s a good chance you’ve seen him before. That’s because he was a viral video sensation. You might remember the video: it’s the one with a cocky fighter with tattoos all over his face and body shoving his fist in his opponent’s face during a douchey weigh-in for a regional card. Then, that same opponent beats the crap out of Face Tattoo in less than half a minute in their bout.

That fighter was Ben Nguyen, and his unlikely fame pretty much earned him a shot in the world’s biggest MMA promotion. Now we’ll get to see if he’s the real deal.
