Get ready for the UFC’s first card of 2016. UFC 195 is going down this Saturday, meaning you don’t have much time to lock in your pre-fight bets. With intriguing matchups all over the card, there’s plenty of action for you to cash in on. Let’s make some quick picks for the main card, just in case you’ve missed our in-depth fight previews this week.
UFC 195 odds at BookMaker.eu
Carlos Condit +115
Robbie Lawler -145
Over/under 4.5 rounds, over -125, under +105
Prediction: Robbie Lawler wins by TKO in the 4th
Full disclosure: I feel like this is a toss-up. But in a fight this evenly matched, I refuse to bet against Lawler’s unstoppable grit and heart. You can hit the champion with a nuclear bomb and he’d still somehow recover, regroup, and break your will. If you don’t bet on this fight, sit back and enjoy what should be one of the most violent title fights in UFC history.
UFC 195 odds at BookMaker.eu
Andrei Arlovski +200
Stipe Miocic -250
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -150, under +130
Prediction: Stipe Miocic wins by unanimous decision
I love Arlovski’s comeback from the brink of irrelevancy, but his Cinderella story ends at the hands of Miocic. The Croatian-American is too well-rounded for the Arlovski, who will likely be pressed into the cage and beaten up inside the clinch for the majority of three rounds. Miocic is just too smart to oblige the former heavyweight champion in a standup affair - where Arlovski is most comfortable. And even if he did, we all know how fragile his chin is.
UFC 195 odds at BookMaker.eu
Albert Tumenov -205
Lorenz Larkin +175
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -150, under +125
Prediction: Albert Tumenov wins by unanimous decision
The 23-year old Tumenov is one of the best prospects in the welterweight division, and this is the fight where he’ll force the world to take notice. Larkin is an athletic freak of nature with fight ending power, but he’s in a for a world of hurt against a guy that looks more and more like an unstoppable force with each fight. You just can’t teach the kind of power the Russian has in his strikes.
UFC 195 odds at BookMaker.eu
Diego Brandao -210
Brian Ortega +180
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -165, under +140
Prediction: Diego Brandao wins by TKO in the first
An undefeated Brian Ortega will look for his 10th career victory against an established vet in Diego Brandao. While the 24-year old Ortega is a prospect in his own right, his ceiling appears far lower than Tumenov’s. Brandao has had an up-and-down UFC career, but I can see his aggressive style and explosive power catching the young Ortega off guard.
