This Saturday’s UFC 210 is a card that’s carried by two big fights: a light heavyweight title rematch between champion Daniel Cormier and knockout artist Anthony Johnson, and a high stakes middleweight clash between former champion Chris Weidman and surging contender Gegard Mousasi. Luckily for fans, those two fights alone should justify the price of the pay-per-view.
The rest of the card won’t appeal to many outside of the hardcore fan base, but there are some interesting matchups that bear watching. Let’s take a look at the UFC odds at BookMaker.eu and make some quick picks to score you some cash on fight night.

Main Event
Light Heavyweight Championship
Anthony Johnson -120
Daniel Cormier +100
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -156, under +131
Common Sense Says…
It’s surprising to see Cormier as the underdog, since he was able to take the victory the first time the two met. His brand of grit-and-grind wrestling overwhelmed Johnson, who was exhausted by the time DC slapped a rear-naked choke in the third round.
But Cormier will be 39 when he enters the ring, and he’s had some problems staying healthy recently. This could be a sign that his body is breaking down. In contrast, Johnson has been on a tear since the loss, knocking out all three of his opponents in devastating fashion.
How You Should Bet
This isis an extremely evenly matched fight. Because it’s so hard to pick between the two, look to the over/under to make your betting pick. 1.5 rounds is a small window, and while an early knockout is always a possibility with Johnson, DC has never been KO’d.
UFC odds pick: Over 1.5 rounds -145
Co-Main Event
Middleweight
Gegard Mousasi -118
Chris Weidman -102
Over 2.5 rounds, over -185, under +155
Common Sense Says…
Weidman has been torched in two straight fights, taking a ton of damage and leaving the octagon battered on both occasions. Meanwhile, Mousasi has been red hot winning four straight with the last three coming by way of TKO. It appears that they’re trending in opposite directions right now.
One has to wonder where Weidman’s head is at right now after two brutal losses. But the reality is that he’s been facing much tougher competition than Mousasi. If his head is right, he does have the elite wrestling to penetrate Mousasi’s 61% takedown defense and control large swaths of this fight.
How You Should Bet
Getting a near 1:1 payout on Weidman seems like a pretty good deal, especially since he can stifle Mousasi’s offense and also dish out damage with his striking.
UFC odds pick: Weidman to win at -102
Welterweight
Thiago Alves +140
Patrick Cote -165
Over/under 2.5 rounds, over -185, under +155
Common Sense Says…
Two former title challengers fight to stay relevant in a crowded welterweight division. Both men are strikers with different styles - Alves is a powerhouse Thai boxer, while Cote is more a volume-based kickboxer. Expect an exciting standup battle between the two, as they square off to establish range and rhythm.
In this matchup, Cote is the rangier fighter, and that will make a huge difference against the stockier Alves. And unfortunately, the Brazilian doesn’t have the quickness to cover ground like he used to. It’s a tough call, but Cote should be able to stick-and-move his way to victory.
How to Bet
The safest bet here looks like the over, as both men have the chin to take each other’s best shots. This also protects you from having to pick a winner in an even contest.
UFC odds pick: Over 2.5 rounds at -185
Lightweight
Will Brooks -255
Charles Oliveira +210
Over/under 2.5 rounds, over -130, under +110
Common Sense Says…
We have to give Brooks a pass in his most recent outing. He had to fight a blownup Alex Oliveira, who missed weight and entered the fight as the noticeably bigger man. He could quickly regain his footing against Charles Oliveira, a former featherweight who is moving up after a 1-3 stint against top 145ers.
There’s nothing really flashy about Brooks - he’s just very good in every MMA phase. While Oliveira is the more flashy, explosive fighter, he can be steadily worn down by a patient fighter. Brooks is exactly that.
How to Bet
Brooks to win is expensive, so you should definitely parlay his money line.
UFC odds pick: Brooks to win at -255
