Main EventHeavyweight ChampionshipJunior Dos Santos +150 vs. Stipe Miocic -175

Odds Analysis: Miocic Up, Dos Santos Down

Miocic opened at -200 on February 18, but we’ve seen his line hold steady at -175 since February 28. His opponent, has gone from +170 to +150 at the same time. What this mean is that most of the action has been on Dos Santos.

This is a trend that’s likely to continue, as Dos Santos is definitely a live dog. A +150 line is still pretty enticing, so if you’re convinced that the Brazilian can score an upset it’d be wise to lay down a bet now before his line goes down any further.

Co-Main Event

Jessica Andrade +145 vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk -165

Odds Analysis: Andrade Up, Jedrzejczyk Down

There have been some drastic shifts in Andrade’s line. The Brazilian opened as a +125 underdog and in a few weeks her line has gone up 20 points to +145. But during those weeks, there were one-day swings where “Bate Estaca” was as expensive as -120. J-Check opened at -165, which is where she’s at today, but there were days where she hit -120.

Based on those swings, it’s entirely possible that Andrade’s line goes down closer to even money. As another live underdog, +145 might be the best payout you get on the challenger.

Featherweight

Frankie Edgar -165 vs. Yair Rodriguez +145

Odds Analysis: Edgar Up, Rodriguez Down

After opening at +180 in late March, Rodriguez’s line is currently +145. Edgar has gone from -260 to -165. It’s clear that there are a lot of people who think that “Pantera” will score an upset.

Kudos to the smart bettors who got a +180 line on Rodriguez - they’re getting nearly 2-1 odds on a red-hot prospect with a ton of physical advantages. There’s a good chance that Rodriguez’ line goes down even more, so act accordingly.

Welterweight

Demian Maia -125 vs. Jorge Masvidal +105

Odds Analysis: Maia Up, Masvidal Down

Maia opened at -175 and is now at -125. Masvidal is currently at +105, down from a +135 opening money line. The movement makes Maia much more affordable, but it’s doubtful he gets any cheaper than this.

The Brazilian has grounded bigger fighters than Masvidal, and the betting public will like drive the BJJ specialist’s line down closer to -150 come fight night. If you were thinking of betting on Maia, now’s the time to jump.

Lightweight

Dustin Poirier +105 vs. Eddie Alvarez -125

Odds Analysis: Alvarez Down, Poirier Up

Alvarez went from moderate favorite to slight favorite in just a few weeks, going from -160 to -125. Poirier has remained a slight underdog since opening, but his money line has gone from +120 to +105.

It’s tough to see Alvarez - a former champion who can grind or box - get any cheaper than this. Poirier isn’t going to be an easy fight, but he’s not dominant enough in any one category to garner much faith at +105.
