Main Event

Light Heavyweight

Corey Anderson +125
Jimi Manuwa -145
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -160, under +140

Common Sense Says…

Manuwa has got the flashy knockout reel and is coming off his most impressive win to date, a KO over former title challenger Ovince St. Preux. He’s fighting a largely unknown guy in Corey Anderson - so why isn’t he a bigger favorite?

Simply put, Anderson has the wrestling to ground Manuwa’s explosive offense and make the Brit fight on his back for three rounds. However, he’s still relatively inexperienced as an MMA fighter, with just about five years of pro experience in the game. Though Manuwa is his toughest test to date, Anderson has the size advantage and the skillset to grind out a win, making him a solid underdog play.

UFC odds pick: Anderson to win at +130

Welterweight

Gunnar Nelson -360
Alan Jouban +290
Over/under rounds, over -200, under +170

Common Sense Says…

Jouban is big, aggressive striker that loves to get into a brawl. Unfortunately for him, Nelson is a guy that has beaten better, technical standup guys. While the Icelander might have some problems getting this fight to the ground, he should be able to wear down “The Brahma Bull” and tilt this fight in his favor.

Still, Jouban is seriously undervalued at +290. He can be a lethally dangerous striker, and every round starts out on the feet. He’s also the bigger man here, so it could prove difficult for Nelson to take him down. While Gunni’s cardio and grappling give him the overall advantage, a small bet on Jouban makes sense.

UFC odds pick: Jouban to win at +290

Bantamweight

Brad Pickett -135
Enrique Briones +135
Over/under rounds, over -175, under +155

Common Sense Says…

Pickett is a guy that should really be considering retirement. “One Punch” has been one of the 135-pound class’ most consistently entertaining fighters, but he’s taken a brutal amount of damage and is now just 2-6 in his past eight fights. Scoring a win in his hometown of London would be a great way to ride out on top.

Enrique Briones is a mid-level fighter who will gladly engage in the type of brawl that Picket loves. But he’s also got the fresher legs and a submission game that could give Pickett problems.

UFC odds pick: Briones to win at +135

Lightweight

Joe Duffy -625
Reza Madadi +475
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -135, under +115

Common Sense Says…

Duffy was one of the lightweight division’s brightest prospects until a disappointing loss to Dustin Poirier. Still, his pro boxing background and talent for submissions make him an intriguing fighter to watch - he just needs to string together a few wins. Against Madadi, he is simply the more talented guy overall, and should be at an advantage on the feet and the mat.

UFC odds pick: Duffy to win at -625
