Till’s style is rooted in Muay Thai, and as a southpaw the left straight and left round kicks are what Velickovic really needs to look out for. When given space and time to get into a rhythm, the Brit can be deadly from the periphery - he’s an especially hard, accurate puncher. When pressured, Till loves to grab the double-collar tie and throw punishing knees to the body.
Velickovivck does a little bit of everything, but doesn’t really distinguish himself in MMA skill. In fact, his consistently low output makes it hard to distinguish anything about him. Though he’s coming off a KO victory against Nicolas Musoke, it was a fight he was probably losing going into the final frame.
The Serbian did show much more willingness to use his wrestling against Musoke, and he’ll need to do more of that against a much better striker in Till. That might be tough sledding, as Till is especially good at maintaining range and slicing guys up from the outside.
UFC Betting Tips
Till’s volume and accuracy give him a clear edge over Velickovick from the get-go. There’s a small chance that the Serb lands enough takedowns to control the majority of the fight, but he’s not a dominating wrestler to begin with. Expect Till to take full control of the striking exchanges and eventually put down the Velickovick for good later in the fight.
