A fun lightweight pairing will bring more than 20 years of combined pro fighting experience to Sao Paolo for UFC Fight Night 119. Longtime UFC vet Jim Miller will meet 39-year old Francisco Trinaldo on the main card in a matchup of top-15 fighters. Trinaldo recently had a seven-fight win streak snapped by Kevin Lee, while Miller will try to shake off consecutive losses.
Let’s take a look at the UFC odds at BookMaker.eu and break down the matchup - along with your betting options.

Francisco Trinaldo -165

Fight Preview
Miller is as experienced as they come. There is no phase where he’s not comfortable, but his strength has always been his submission game. That’s not to say he can’t strike, as he’s outlasted Muay Thai specialists like Thiago Alves and knocked out heavy hitters like Takanori Gomi.
Though it seems like he’s been around forever, Miller is just 34 and still has plenty of fight left in him. His trademark ruggedness and durability is still intact, and he remains nearly impossible to finish. If he has any weaknesses, it’s his stocky frame and lack of elite athleticism. That’s led to some struggles against quciker, rangier guys.
Against Trinaldo, Miller will want to tie it up as soon as possible - the Brazilian’s powerful kickboxing is not to be messed with. Though Trinaldo is already 39, he just seems to have reached his peak. It’s below the title mix, as Kevin Lee proved, but “Massaranduba” has been eating well against mid-level fighters.
If you want to oversimplify this matchup, this boils down to Miller’s grappling against Trinaldo’s striking. This is a high-level matchup between upper tier fighters, and there should be plenty of back and forth swings to keep you on your toes.
How You Should Bet
If Trinaldo can keep the distance between the two, this is his fight to lose. While Miller is an expert and turning fights into a grind, Trinaldo has plenty of experience against these types. Trinaldo will land some heavy shots, do a lot of damage and pick up the victory.
UFC odds pick: Trinaldo to win at -165
