Lucie Pudilova is a slight favorite against Sarah Moras at UFC Fight Night 126 on Sunday in Texas. This bout should be very competitive, as Pudilova is 7-2 in her career, while Moras is 5-2. This bout is one of four on the FS1 portion of the preliminary card, leading up to a five-fight main card on FS1, featuring Donald Cerrone vs. Yancy Medeiros. Let’s take a look at Moras vs. Pudilova and UFC picks.

Sarah Moras (5-2, 2-1 UFC)
Moras has fought three times in the UFC with two wins and a loss. She defeated Ashlee Evans Smith by submission and she won a unanimous decision against Alexis Dufresne. The one loss for Moras came against Jessica Andrade by unanimous decision. Moras doesn’t have a ton of experience, fighting just seven times since 2010. She has two knockout wins and one win by submission.
Moras would prefer to be fighting at featherweight but the UFC does not have much of a women’s featherweight division. She has only fought once in the last two years. She said to Fightful that she has had issues cutting weight to bantamweight. "It's always a bit of a struggle. I really want to move up a weight class. It seems they are really not trying to build that division. It'd be nice if they started to," said Moras. "I feel like the more I work out, the more muscle I get, the harder it is to make weight because I'm bigger. Leaner but weight the same or more. So, it's always a struggle for me." The UFC has only four fighters listed at featherweight, led by Cristiane ‘Cyborg” Justino.
Lucie Pudilova (7-2, 1-1 UFC)
Pudilova has fought twice in the UFC with a win against Ji Yeon by unanimous decision and a loss to Lina Lansberg by unanimous decision. Pudilova has slightly more experience than Moras even though she has only been a pro since 2014.
Pudilova has two knockout wins and two wins by submission. She does have two first round finishes. Pudilova has the nickname of “Bullet”, and she said that nickname was given to her because of her speed. She will need to use that speed in this fight to avoid the takedown attempts of Moras.
UFC Picks
This is the classic striker vs. wrestler matchup, as Pudilova is the striker, while Moras is the wrestler. The question in this one is whether or not Pudilova can avoid the takedown. I think she can, as she has more length and a solid takedown defense. Pudilova has also been known for her speed in her career and I think her speed will be the difference in this fight, so I will take Pudilova to get the win. The total on the rounds to go under could also be worth a look, as neither of these fighters has shown much ability to finish.
