Welterweights

Brendan O’Reilly +380

Alan Jouban -475

The feature prelim fight pits Australian prospect Brendan O’Reilly against a solid vet in Alan Jouban. O’Reilly lost his UFC debut to Lipeng Zhang but most recently bounced back against Vik Grujic at UFC Fight Night 65. Jouban is coming off a loss to a sizzling Albert Tumenov, but he’s a well-respected fighter who with some serious power. This is a great test to see where O’Reilly stands at 170.

Flyweights

Ben Nguyen +240

Justin Scoggins -290

Nguyen has won eight straight fights, including both of his UFC appearances. Now it’s time to see whether he can hang with a ranked fighter in Justin Scoggins. At 23 years old, Scoggins has already compiled a 4-2 octagon record and comes into the fight with two straight wins. Both of his losses have come against upper caliber fighters, making him a gatekeeper of sorts until he can string together more wins.

Welterweights

Rich Walsh -105

Viscadi Andrade -115

Right now, Sydney native Rich Walsh is a fighter the UFC only calls when the promotion has an event in Australia. To become more than that, he needs to beat guys like Viscadi Andrade. The Brazilian is 2-1 in the UFC, although his opposition hasn’t been that tough. Walsh is just 2-2, but at 27 still has time to improve.

Lightweights

Ross Pearson -125

Abel Trujillo +105

Tucked away on the UFC Fight Pass is an expected barnburner between Ross Pearson and Abel Trujillo. Both men are well-rounded finishers, nearly splitting their stoppages by TKO and submissions right down the middle. It seems as if Pearson doesn’t know how to fight boring, and it’s been three years since Trujillo has heard the final bell. This one should be a real crowdpleaser.
