The world’s most terrifying woman is back in action this Saturday - and she’ll be headlining her first UFC card. Cris “Cyborg” Justino, unbeaten in 16 fights with KO/TKO stoppages in all but two of them, will meet UFC newcomer Lina Lansberg in the main event of UFC Fight Night 95. The bout takes place at a catchweight of 140 pounds.

Odds Analysis
Justino is not stranger to lopsided money lines. It’s not uncommon for her to close as more than a 30-1 favorite in her bouts. For her UFC debut against Leslie Smith, Cyborg opened at -1200 and closed at -2000. Against an unknown fighter like Lansberg, it’s no surprise that she’s a massive favorite. Even less surprising is the 1.5 over/under, which is the lowest possible total and the norm for Cyborg, who hasn’t gone past the first round in her last four fights.
Fight Preview
There are few fighters more intimidating than Justino. A certified Muay Thai machine with bone-crunching power, Cyborg’s highlight reel alone scares off potential opponents in droves. It’s telling that not one of the UFC’s premier bantamweight fighters, like Holly Holm or Miesha Tate, have yet to sign the dotted line to face her.
Of course, the story with Justino will always be about her weight. The Chute Box product has long been the best 145-pounder in the world, and her muscle mass makes any cut beyond that a nearly impossible endeavor. This fight marks her second UFC fight at 140 pounds, but in her prior bout, a behind-the-scenes look at her cut showed a sobbing Cyborg struggling to make the weight.
That could explain why she fought much more patiently against Smith. Although she still had her trademark power, she was not the ultra-aggressive brawler of the past. She found her range and picked Smith apart, showcasing textbook kickboxing skills in the process. We still have no idea how the 140-pound catchweight could affect her in later rounds.
Lansberg is also a Muay Thai stylist, having competed in several European kickboxing championships. Although she has just seven pro MMA bouts, she’s fought in upwards of 90 Muay Thai matches. While the Swede has four knockouts in six career wins, she isn’t a particularly powerful striker. Instead, she earns her stoppages by accumulation.
But she’s not necessarily a volume striker either. Lansberg prefers to circle and pick her shots - to her credit she has good technique and good snap. Showing good instincts, Lansberg will swarm after an effective strike and force her opponents to cover up.
Betting Values
If Lansberg were a little more seasoned, with actual octagon experience under her belt, she might make a good hail mary bet. The brutal nature of Cyborg’s weight cut makes her a serious question mark in a five-round fight. But it’s doubtful that Lansberg has the depth to take her into deep water. If the standup is ever in question, the Brazilian has the option of muscling Lansberg to the ground and roughing her up. Take Cyborg to win, and parlay that wager with another bet.
UFC odds: Justino TKO Lansberg, Round 1
