UFC 197, April 23

Light Heavyweight Championship

Daniel Cormier +245

Jon Jones -315

Over/under 4.5 rounds, over -155, under +135

The UFC needs Jon Jones to win more than ever after the recent losses by Rousey and McGregor. The former champion is the only one of the major stars who has yet to really lose inside the octagon, and you can’t put a price on having an undefeated record and an invincible aura. Despite his personal issues, having the best pound-for-pound fighter alive back inside the octagon is good for the sport.

What’s more, this is a real rivalry between the two men that are clearly the best in the world in their weight class. They also happen to hate each other. Rumor has it that the pair almost brawled before the Unstoppable press conference. Expect the pre-fight trash talk to quickly ramp up.

UFC 197, April 23

Flyweight Championship

Demetrious Johnson -450

Henry Cejudo +355

Over/under 4.5 rounds, over -450, under +355

Dana White and Co. are desperate for more interest in the flyweight division, so they’re piggybacking on Jones’ popularity to pit Mighty Mouse against Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo in the co-main event slot at UFC 197.

Johnson is arguably the most dominant champion in any weight class, and right behind Jones in the pound-for-pound rankings. His main problem is finding credible challengers, as he’s cleaned out most of the division. Cejudo is somebody he hasn’t faced, and his Olympic background adds intrigue to this bout.

UFC 198, May 14

Heavyweight Championship

Fabricio Werdum -185

Stipe Miocic +160

Over/under 2.5 rounds, over -160, under +140

Werdum will make his first title defense against one of the most well-rounded fighters in the division, Stipe Miocic. No UFC heavyweight champion has been able to defend the belt more than three times - and whether Werdum can do so at 38 is a valid question. To his credit, he’s never looked better during a career that’s spanned nearly 15 years.

UFC 199, June 4

Middleweight Championship

Chris Weidman +160

Luke Rockhold -200

Over/under 3.5 rounds, over -120, under +100

Like Jones and Cormier, the immediate rematch between Rockhold and Weidman features the two best fighters in their weight class. Rockhold has been an absolute monster, but Weidman is itching to avenge his first loss. You can also sense the tensions mounting in this bout - especially when it comes to the sniping between the two in interviews and social media.

TUF 23 FINALE, July 8

Women’s Strawweight Championship

Claudia Gadelha +160

Joanna Jedrzejczyk -200

The only thing that sucks about this fight is that we have to wait so long for it. Joanna Champion is one of the best Muay Thai strikers on the planet and a destructive force of nature. Gadelha is an athletic marvel and a multiple-time world champion in jiu-jitsu. And they literally cannot stand the sight of each other.
