UFC betting online: Future hall-of-famer Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira - 34-9, 3 KOs, 21 SUBs - isn’t done yet. At 39 years old, with over 16 years of fights on the odometer, “Minotauro” will look to fend off Father Time for a just a little longer when he steps into the cage against Stefan “Skyscraper” Struve - 25-7, 7 KOs, 16 SUBs - at UFC 190 in Brazil.

The two will meet on the pay-per-view main card portion of the night, which starts at 10 p.m. ET.

CURRENT ODDS

Check our UFC 190 odds for the latest Nogueira-Struve bets. I’d expect the money lines to be pretty close in this bout, as both men have struggled as of late. Struve is ranked higher by the UFC, but Nogueira has proven more durable than the Dutchman. The over/under is likely to be set at 1.5 rounds – neither man has been seeing the final bell lately.

TOPPLING A SKYSCRAPER

Though Nogueira has fallen out of the UFC’s top 15, he remains one of the most recognizable names in the heavyweight division. He is a living legend who dates back to the fabled Pride era, engaging in wars with the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko Cro Cop, Dan Henderson and Mark Coleman when they were at their peak.

But despite the shiny resume, the MMA fight game has a short memory. Nogueira is just 1-3 in his past four, with losses to Frank Mir, Fabricio Werdum and most recently, Roy Nelson. With each loss, the calls for the 39-year old to retire have grown louder, but Nogueira remains non-committal about when he’ll step away.

Struve has always been an intriguing heavyweight due to his 6’11” frame, but a vulnerable chin and a lengthy layoff due to a heart ailment has kept the Dutch submission specialist out of the division’s elite. He’s still just 27 years old, despite having 32 pro fights, though he has not appeared to evolve as a fighter over the past few years.

FIGHT ANALYSIS AND PICK

Struve is most vulnerable when facing power punchers – something Nogueira is not. In back-to-back KO losses to Mark Hunt and Allistair Overeem, both men walked straight through Struve’s punches and planted knockout shots right on his chin. Nogueira doesn’t have the luxury of fight-ending power, opting instead to engage in technical boxing matches. That’s not the way to go against the taller, longer Struve.

If Nogueira gives Struve the space to operate at his range, the Brazilian is in for a long night at the end of endless 1-2’s from the Dutchman. The legend simply isn’t aggressive and powerful enough to beat Struve on the feet, and I see Skyscraper taking this fight on rounds.
